Prospurly November 2015 box

The theme for the November 2015 box was “Gifts of Gratitude.” Prospurly is a monthly subscription box featuring 6-8 luxurious products in each box, with an average $80 value. Items include gourmet foods and bath & body essentials, plus fun gifts and games to share with friends. Prospurly features organic, handcrafted, and sustainable items.

Prospurly November 2015 review

Everything in the November box! There were no squigglies this  month, but the glass items were packed in bubble wrap, which kept everything safe. I didn’t take a photo of the back of the card because it’s still impossible to read!

ROANDNOVA Holiday Gift Card Set ($10.50) These are just pretty, aren’t they? Time for holiday card writing!

Whiskey Oak Smoked Poultry Seasoning ($12) A blend of seasonings and natural smoke flavor – they actually smoke the spices themselves (I didn’t know how they did it, I had to look it up!). This sounds really good but right now I love their suggestion of stroganoff or sloppy joes. Mix-mash goulash elevated to greatness sounds wonderful. (Adding sour cream to shopping list…)

Sakari Botanicals Sweet Grass Tea ($3) Blended from foraged chamomile and sweetgrass from Bend Oregon!

Bubbles and Botanicals Cocoa Butter Whip – Apple Spice ($10) This is just SO good – it’s whipped up to a frosting like texture and smells so good. I will be surprised if it lasts a week!

Juniper Earth Headache Shower Bomb ($4.50) I love getting shower bombs because I take an actual bath about once a year but I still want all the bath bomb goodness. This one uses lavender and eucalyptus essential oils to melt away your headaches. Thank goodness – I need this one.

Yes It’s Pure Organic Elderberry Brew ($18) This is a tasty (but not sweet) tonic from foraged elderberries, which have higher levels of antioxidants than blueberry, sweet cherry, tart cherry, acai, noni, goji, pomegranate and cranberry juices. This is a great way to add real-food antioxidants to your life. They also mix in unfiltered raw apple cider vinegar, local honey, lemon juice, stinging nettles, echinacea, cloves, ginger, and cinnamon for extra nasties-fighting power!

Leaf Seed Berry Green Apple Face Toner ($24) I love a good toner and I use a lot of it, because I tend to clean my face half the time with a face wipe, and use toner afterwards. I alternate between natural toners and ultra fancy kinds. This appley toner is more than a toner, it’s a tonic of willow bark, aloe vera juice, apple essence water, and chamomile extract plus organic licorice root extract, organic ginger root extract, and organic green tea and goji berry extracts. The etsy shop has more information on what each of these do, but I think this may qualify as a fancy toner because all those natural actives serve to rejuvenate skin and diminish dark spots. I’m thrilled with this one!

I loved this hand-crafted set of items. I would call it my favorite Prospurly yet, but that award still goes to the Harvest themed box.

The elderberry syrup isn’t supposed to be a yummy treat type item, it’s for if anyone is about to get sick to help your immune system. Should be great for sick season!
