Nerd Block is a monthly mystery geek & gamer subscription box. Every month includes a new shirt and Nerd Block boxes are typically filled with fun toys and figurines. It really is a box for everyone who enjoys nerdy and pop culture things.
The December Theme was STAR WARS: From Classic to Current!
As usual, the other items are on the back of the card.
And everything in this month’s box!
Star Wars Funko POP! Tie Fighter Pilot Vinyl Figure ($8.90) Subscribers could receive this one, Tatooine Luke, or Darth without helmet. I was bummed because I got the exclusive version of this one from Smugglers Bounty in November. But I can pair him with my extra Captain Phasma for a really awesome gift!
Nerd Block Blaster Keychain: This is a cute item and I love the suggestion to unloop it from the keychain and put it on a necklace! This company (Pennyroyal Studio) creates quite a few products for the Nerd Block family of boxes.
Galactic Vacation Destination Mouse Pad: There were three variations (the others were Endor and Mos Eisley). While I’d probably rather hang at the Cantina, I love this item. The Empire will never find you! (Although I think that’s Nar Shaddaa).
Star Trek Rank Insignia Lapel Pin: This is a tribute to Leonard Nimoy and a cool geeky emblem that nobody else will get unless they’re a fan.
There’s a bit of overspray on my pin.
Two pin posts to make sure it stays straight.
Star Wars Helmets of the Dark Side Ice Cube Tray ($11.99) Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett And Scout Trooper Helmets!
These are just totally awesome. Some subscribers received Han Solo in Carbonite and others got Star Wars ships!
Shirtpunch Kylo Ren T-Shirt: Oh this is pretty awesome and my husband and I can be matchy matchy (see my December Sci-Fi Block review). I was actually pretty bummed that I get this box in my husband’s size, but I’ll steal it!
I loved this box. Like really really loved it! The value was totally there, all the items were great (except for the overspray on the pin, which I think happened to a lot of them), and the timing for the Star Wars premiere was absolutely perfect.
I do have some January 2016 Nerd Block Spoilers up already, so be sure to check those out.
