Level Up by Loot Crate December 2015 Review & Coupons – GALAXY

The December 2015 Level Up subscriptions were 100% Star Wars! Level Up is a monthly subscription from Loot Crate with exclusive geek and gamer premium wearable accessories themed along with the current Loot Crate theme. You can purchase Level Up separately from Loot Crate – and the wearable items (the shirts/hats/etc) are available in ladies’ sizes, but not the socks. Oh one more thing – I haven’t really been sure about the spelling on the name of this box – is it Lvl Up or Level Up? The Hashtag and branding uses LVL Up, the site says Level Up.

There are now four options:

• Socks: 2 pairs of themed socks for $9.99
• Shirt: 1 shirt for $8.99
• Accessories: 1 or 2 fashion accessories for lady looters (hairbow, cosmetics, jewelry) for $14.99
• Wearable: 1 wearable item like a premium shirt or hat for $14.99

You can also bundle the wearable + socks for $20.99.

FYI – since the regular Loot Crate box is now offering a t-shirt every month I did check with them to confirm that the new shirt subscription is unique to Level Up (it is!).

The theme for December was GALAXY and everything was officially licensed Star Wars merch!

Instead of a card (which admittedly got really rumply in the past months that I’ve reviewed), this month had an entire booklet. It was probably overkill but it’s a nice touch. It also shows you all the things you didn’t get if you’re not subscribing to everything.

Level Up Socks: This month I picked up the Wearable and the Accessories, but no socks. Look for monthly reviews of Level Up socks starting next month!

Level Up Accessories: I couldn’t have been more thrilled with these picks! I think this Level Up subscription in particular is an awesome value!

Darth Vader Bag Charm: I love him! It’s so kawaii and awesome to put just on a regular purse and rock some SW style. I especially love the tassel.

BB-8 Clutch Bag: This is an awesome little pouch with lovable BB-8 and a nice vinyl envelope! You can use them together or separately.

Level Up Wearable

Star Wars Lounge Pants: Well fortunately I got these in my husband’s size – they’re nearly a foot too long. If he didn’t want them desperately I’d hem them and keep the rest for an infinity scarf!  Since the wearables have different sizes for men’s and womens, I do think they should perhaps have sizing that match that. I think a lot of people are needing to hem these! The graphics on the pants are X-Wing and TIE-Fighters.

I’m excited about all the options Loot Crate has been adding to the Loot Crate Family of subscriptions and I have my fingers crossed for Loot Kids next, and also a onesie and kids option for the Level Up shirt subscription! I think that’s a no-brainer!
