From The Lab December 2015 box
From the Lab is a totally unique beauty subscription box – every month get up to 3 selections of the most innovative beauty products before they hit retail.  These products are made in European labs, to EU standards, and are private-label. With From the Lab you can access European luxury beauty 18 months before retail and for up to 80% less. They are finally accepting new subscribers, but they are shipping on an extremely erratic schedule. They charge subscribers when a box is shipped, so you may just be signing on to whenever they have a new product to release.

From The Lab December 2015 information

December’s product was Oxygen Boosting Night Treatment No. 650, with a retail value of $90.

From The Lab December 2015 IMG_4756Formulas are never tested on animals and never use substances originating from animals, and are always paraben-free.

The product came wrapped in pink tissue, but it was a weird photo, so we unwrapped it!

From The Lab December 2015 night treatment

This is a skin strengthening balm that is a cream! That’s the best way I can describe it – it’s as nourishing as a balm and a bit shiny (it’s for night time), but not hard like a balm. I really enjoyed the formulation, so much so that I immediately applied it to my face and my husband’s crows feet and forehead wrinkles! Winter Daphne Stem Cell Culture strengthens the skin’s protective barrier and increases your skin’s ability to repair microlesions and soothes and detoxifies irritated skin. There are microdroplets of CoQ10 and Vitamin E, plus little red spheres with Vitamin A and E for firmness and glow! No rinsing required overnight, it soaks in. If you want a daytime treatment you can apply and rinse 15 minutes later.

The only product I have found with this culture is Chantecaille’s Bio Lifting Cream+, which costs $342!

This subscription is sort of odd because of the whole get it before it’s on the market thing, but I swear I have used and loved every single product I’ve ever received from them. They all just work, and really well, and that is not a gimmick! I do wish they would straighten out and clarify exactly what their subscription program is.

I also have really liked all the products I’ve received from From the Lab. They do a great job that way. But “erratic” is a great word to describe the deliveries. I stepped away from it for that reason.

May be paraben-free, but the first ingredient is water, and I see a ton of toxic ingredients in that list. I’m so glad you post that in your reviews… Other bloggers never show the back of the card. I love being able to see the ingredients, so thanks for that!!! This one is a no for me just because I don’t like chemicals and artificial ingredients in my skincare. 🙂
