Geek Fuel is a geek & gamer subscription box. It’s a monthly mystery box of at least $40 worth of geeky goodness with exclusive games, toys, gear, collectibles, and all things epic.
I just about died when I opened this box! We won The Force Awakens tickets (in the form of a Fandango gift card)!
I was totally thrilled!
A mini mag comes with the box. It’s always fun with some great articles and a geek gift guide!
The mini mag this month had a tutorial for a Peanut Butter filled Chocolate Death Star!
The information card details all the items in the box.
Flip side. I like this style of information card – it’s fun!
Everything in the December Geek Fuel box!
Devil’s Bluff + Bloo Kid 2 Steam Games ($19) I totally missed taking an individual photo of this!
Two Steam codes were included this month (there’s always one each month making this subscription perfect for gamers). I use a Mac so I can play only one but I will pass the other one on!
BB-8 Eraser: My box was missing this item. It’s a review box so I didn’t ask for a replacement. I did get an extra greeting card (it was just a packing mistake). Cute and useful he is.
Liquid Sabers Candy: I have no idea what this pure liquid sugar tastes like, because I slapped on the stickers and stuck them in my kids’ stockings! May the force be with them as they open their presents.
swoooosh.
Death Star Mold ($3.90) There’s a photo on the amazon link that suggests you might make a gudetama with it – I don’t think that will work great!
I think this is really fun! You can make candy, chocolate, soap, or ice Death Stars!! Which autocorrect awesomely capitalizes.
Geek Fuel Greeting Card: Awww. This is cute and then you can explain you got it in a subscription box if your giftee doesn’t already understand your obsession.
Bart Simpson’s Manual of Mischief ($19.37) There are 2 different Simpsons books you could have received (the other was Homer Simpson’s Little Book of Laziness). Really funny with lift the flap pages. A good coffee table book or even a nice gift!
I love these mini coffee table books – they’re one of my favorite geeky items in this type of subscription box and I enjoyed the rest of the items too.
The Dark Knightmare Before Christmas ($15) Nightmare before Christmas wins for the most mashups in all the geek boxes during the last couple of months! Here’s Jack Skellington as the Joker from Batman!
8-Bit Gift Wrap: Mario, Zelda, and Mega Man! This is honestly perfect for regifting items you have received via your subscription box addiction but aren’t in your personal fandom zone. It’s better to give than to receive, If only because you will have room to receive more!
December was another great month and it had a lot of really fun and different items! I loved how there was a bit of a focus on gifting as well. And of course actually winning their monthly giveaway was a huge bonus!

I signed up for Geek Fuel’s Box this month because they stated that Resident Evil was going to be featured this month. Being a huge Resident Evil Fan, I was so excited. Then I got my box and all I received was the pin. Needless to say I was saddened by this. I went on their page to express my disappointment and some guy started arguing with me and then Geek Fuel starting arguing with me. Mind you, I said nothing mean to this guy and all I said was if he was getting this box specifically for Resident Evil then he was going to be disappoint. Geek Fuel threatened to ban me after that. I have never seen such unprofessionalism in my life. I am really sad I gave them any of my money.
Congratulations on winning! My 16 year old son saw the movie with his friends. Love the part about the giftwrap. So true.
