Covet Crate is a brand new monthly women’s subscription box geared to professional women sending items that a busy and stylish woman will actually use and appreciate! Every month you will receive carefully curated items geared toward the professional woman’s lifestyle to help empower, motivate, inspire, and encourage you. There are two versions of this box – the Girl Boss box or the Lady Boss box.
Lady Boss Box ($84.95): The lady boss has experience in her industry. She is at the top of her game and is looked up to by her peers. Neutrals and bold, monochromatic colors make her feel in control of life and work.
Girl Boss ($44.95): A girl boss has a fresh perspective on her industry. She takes her career seriously without being too serious. Fun colors and cute patterns inspire her to grow and succeed in her career.
I love cute girly things but I’m totally a lady boss, and that’s what I received to review.
The box comes with a full on magazine with a feature on a woman that changed the world. For this month it was Emmeline Pankhurst, a major leader in the British women’s suffrage movement.
There are multiple other features and little inspirational spreads. A full page was devoted to each item in the box.
It’s extremely well put together – and 100% opposite of what I expected when I heard of this box. Previous subscriptions that have been similarly marketed have been, well, a little low-brow.
There was so much in this box and it was all absolutely gorgeous.
Harvest Paper Co Like A Boss Imprinted Pencils ($5.75) Glam hand-imprinted cedar pencils that read “LIKE A BOSS.” I was happy they weren’t pre-sharpened, because I tend to use pencils for decor. They are pretty fabulous in a nice pencil holder!
Heidi Swapp M. Inc. Gold Binder Clips ($3.59) I love all the stationery and accessories in this box! These are gold metallic binder clips. So cute!
Leaner Creamer Leaner Creamer is an all-natural creamer great for coffee. It’s coconut oil based and infused with citrus aurantium extract, hoodia, and green tea extract to suppress appetite and promote weight loss. This is like the lady version of putting butter or coconut oil in your coffee (which is a thing). Good way to try it and see if it’s for you – I’ve never heard of it before!
Carpo Atwater Breakfast Roast ($7.99) This is a nice big bag of beans. I don’t personally drink coffee but my husband will enjoy it. I loved how they found a gold bag of coffee to match everything else in the box! Roasted using 100% single-origin beans from the San Jose Tarrazu region of Costa Rica.
I was really excited about these because I love Danielle Laporte, who I like to describe as the modern feminine version of Tom Peters. These two items are absolutely perfect for a January box – the first is perfect for getting the fire going, and the second is for carrying it through each and every week of the New Year. I have always loved everything she does (and have said so in the past when her items popped up in my boxes) but have never purchased anything. To get the two main items in this box was really fantastic!
The Fire Starter Sessions is an apathy-kicking, integrity-infusing guide to defining success on your own terms.
As the creator of DanielleLaPorte.com–deemed “the best place online for kick-ass spirituality,” Danielle LaPorte’s straight-talk life-and-livelihood sermons have been read by over one million people. Bold but empathetic, she reframes popular self-help and success concepts:
: Life balance is a myth, and the pursuit of it is causing us more stress then the craving for balance itself.
: Being well-rounded is over-rated. When you focus on developing your true strengths, you enter your mastery zone.
: Screw your principles (they might be holding you back).
: We have ambition backwards. Getting clear on how you want to feel in your life + work is more important than setting goals. It’s the most potent form of clarity that you can have, and it’s what leads to true fulfillment.
The holistic WEEKLY planner: This is for the folks who prefer a high level view of their whole week. Great for Creatives, entrepreneurs, and big dreamers — to whom we bow.
This planning system incorporates your soul and your to-do list; your gratitude and your goals; your deepest desires with your day-to-day.
The book guides you through her system. She’s super inspiring and engaging and I will definitely use this one.
There is a monthly planning area!
The weekly pages takes an overview of what you want to accomplish for the week, sprinkled with prompts for positive declarations and #truthbombs. Each week has space for your Core Desired Feelings, daily to-do’s, and a list of 3 Things to accomplish for the week.
I love this style of planner. This is just what I need.
The planner actually comes with a sample page so you can see how you might use the other pages.
One Canoe Two Notebooks ($12) Slim and flexible notebooks with lined pages that coordinate with modern decor and fashion trends. I love the little touches on these – the matte covers, the gold foil, and the rounded edges.
Perfect to jot some ideas into or make lists.
There were also a couple of wrapped up items!
Ready Pretty 25% off gift card – a personal styling service that seems like a combo shopper & style advice service. Neat!
There was also a thank you for being a subscriber for the first month, and a bonus item!
Eliza Gwendolyn Circle Pendant Necklace ($125 – Bonus) – It reads FIND YOUR TRIBE LOVE THEM HARD. Sterling silver with a super sparkly chain. I love it! This was in the first 100 subscribers’ boxes and is no longer available, but doesn’t make the box any less awesome!
Oh we’re not done with the rest of the box, just needed an interlude.
Heidi Swapp Black & Gold Notepads ($3.90) These are cute tiny notepads and one is glittered, another is metallic, one’s a flag, and the last says “Today.” Perfect for adding notes to your planner.
The Happy Planner stickers by Create 365 ($15) Each of these to-do sticker sets retails individually for $4.99. I couldn’t believe that Covet Crate included 3 of them! I love the love this sticker! I’m going to stick it on everything. These work with the Create 365 Happy Planner or pretty much any other planner.
Fleurt Collective She Believed She Could So She Did Print – Gorgeous gold fold print that is begging to be framed and hung up! You can buy the printable in their store but they don’t sell what they sent out, which is a foiled metallic print, which is probably a $15-20 print at retail.
Unbelievably, there was another item I missed! I loved the print so I didn’t want to remove it from it’s sealed envelope, and there’s an Audrey Hepburn quote print as well. I’ll take a photo and update this post when we’re back home from Christmas!
This was basically the best box I’ve opened all year and Covet Crate raised the bar really high for themselves for their upcoming boxes, and all the other lifestyle subscriptions too! The value for this box was around $125-$130 (not including the bonus item, which doubled the value of this box), which was excellent for an $85 box, but most importantly I adored everything in it. I thought the curation was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a better box that was more well-suited to women like me.
