Bulu Box November 2015 Subscription Box Review & Half Off Coupon

Bulu Box is a health and fitness subscription box. Get a monthly box  – either the classic version or the weight loss version – for $10 a month. Bulu Box is geared to the performance athlete and supplement-receptive casual health aficionado.  There is usually a decent balance of snacks and supplements.

When you get your box, try your samples, and review them for points, just like Birchbox.  I got six products in my November box and I can review my box for $6 back in points!

Bulu Box has an informative little card that really packs everything in.  I like that it includes the full-size pricing information as well as descriptions of the items.

Energems Chocolate Energy Supplements – Dark Chocolate, Mint Dark Chocolate, Berry Flavored Dark Chocolate ($3): These have changed packaging/branding but they look like very large M&Ms. They contain caffeine and vitamins B and D for energy.

DayClear One Shot Allergy Relief ($2) I’ve never seen this product before. It’s a shot of cough suppressant and antihistamine. I love that it’s dye-free. Tom will definitely use this one when he forgets his allergy medication.

Proposlis Soothing Syrup (73¢) “Propolis EVSP supports the health of the oral cavity.” Wikipedia says that the National Institutes of Health rates propolis as “possibly effective” for treating cold sores, genital herpes, and post-surgery mouth pain and it has been used in traditional medicines for thousands of years. It’s also known as “bee glue.”

After Party Pal ($2.50) Caffeine and sugar-free anti-hangover mix. You take a pill before your first drink, one during, and one after your last drink to wake up hangover-free.

Artrex Cream ($1.73) Topical pain cream made with camphor, menthol, cinnamon oil, eucalyptus oil, lemongrass oil, rose oil and ginger oil.

Balance Bar – Double Chocolate Brownie ($1.55) Cannot argue with the classic Balance Bar and 14 g of protein!

The total value of our box this month was $11.51 – a lot better than last month but I do wish the value would improve. That being said – sign up for a long term subscription and your box is $5 a month, you get all the goodies, can rate everything for points back in the shop and redeem for full-size products!
