Boodle One December 2015 Review

Boodle Box Little Girls November 2015 unboxing

The Boodle Box theme for December is Festive Fun. This is the first time we can recall that the theme card was different for Boodle One and Boodle Two!

Boodle Box Little Girls November 2015 review

Everything in the box.  This was a very busy Boodle.Boodle Box Little Girls November 2015 bracelet

Snowflake Bubble Bracelet ($9.99):  The bubbles look like little Xmas tree bulbs!  Too funny — we actually had a set of bulbs in this color palette, along with the matching snowflakes.  Elastic makes this adorable band of baubles one size fits all.

Faux Fur Cowl Neck Warmer ($17.99):  Too cute!  Super-soft and sized for smaller frames (pictured on an adult-sized mannequin).  The white is versatile and both classy and cozy.

NY & Co 3-Piece Sparkle Headband Set ($8):  Starting with a neutral white base, each band is accented with a different glossy shape and texture.  Our three bands were ivory chevrons, silver rivets, and multi-sized pearls, each classic and pretty.

Frozen Smencil ($1.60):  Anna smells like cinnamon and warm treats!  And I thought Kristoff was the pungent one…

NPW Nail Art Sequin Wheel ($3.89):  Pick an embellishment, or mix and match.  This wheel keeps 12 different styles of nail bling neat and ready to use.

Simple Pleasures Nail Polish Duo ($1.99):  Our duo was a sparkly bright pin and a softer, more natural pink-is-the-new-ivory pink.

Boodle Box Little Girls November 2015 treats

popbar Hot Chocolate on a Stick ($2.99):  Forget powder — popbar is stirrer and cocoa mix in one.  Makes a honkin’ lolli in a pinch, too!

Snowman Fluffs – Bonus Treat!  Marshmallow cubes for your enjoyment.

Boodle Two December 2015 Review

Boodle Box Teens Tweens November 2015 unboxing

Boodle Two had the same theme as Boodle One, but with a slightly more sophisticated card to match the more mature style of the box.

Boodle Box Teens Tweens November 2015 review

Everything in the box.  Only two items overlapped with Boodle One, and one item was similar.

NY & Co 3-Piece Sparkle Headband Set ($8):  The same cute ivory chevrons, silver rivets, and multi-sized pearls as Boodle One.

Boodle Box Teens Tweens November 2015 cowl

Faux Fur Cowl Neck Warmer ($17.99):  This luxurious warmer is sized much larger than the version found in the tween box.  Large enough for an adult, this is a great substitute for the ugly Xmas sweater, and perfect for adding warmth to a turtle neck or used as a stand-in for a scarf. Brandy is very excited to match with our daughter!

popbar Hot Chocolate on a Stick ($2.99):  Ready to stir into hot milk and drink.  Boodle Two also comes with a few extra candy packs. Popbars are a super trendy and high end edible/beverage item so this is a great treat for girls and teens.

Blush Beauty Halo Cosmetic Nail Charms ($5.95):  Big charms for bold nails.  These are oversized and sparkly, a statement piece for a nicely painted nail tableau — really pretty, but they may a tight fit on petite nails.

Chromall Pearl Bow Necklace ($5.83):  Very elegant.  This piece hangs very high, resting at, or just below the collarbone.

The pendant is very pretty, with a few sparkly faux diamonds in the middle and the pearls having a very warm and golden hue.

Zoya Nail Polish – India ($9):  This lacquer has a base color in the range of raspberry wine (Zoya calls it a “deep red”), but it is loaded with reflective specks throwing off gold shimmer.

Organic Cinderella Leopard Vanilla Nail Polish Remover Pads ($5.23):  Acetone-free pads with a warm vanilla scent. Brandy noted that these are one of her favorite nail removers.

This was a great set of Boodles.  As always, they did a great job of duplicating the theme, yet distinguishing the level of sophistication between Boodle One and Two by gently editing selections.   Boodle One is bright and fun — Boodle Two adds some class and elegance, but is a collection of which both dads and daughters would approve.
