Tuft & Needle + Amex Mattress in a Box Deal – Save $100!

I have been hunting around and comparing prices and qualities of different foam mattresses (we desperately need a new mattress and I seriously don’t want to shop for one. At. All.). I just scored a Tuft & Needle mattress with a $100 statement credit on my AmEx card! As obsessed as we are with subscriptions around here, good things come in non-monthly boxes too!  The mattress itself – king size – cost $750. Tuft & Needles have a 100-day sleep trial policy, and if it’s not for you, you can donate it to charity and have the purchase price refunded. Anything has to be better than our current bed and with the sleep trial, it was a little crazy not to just pull the trigger and test it out. My husband has been sleeping upside down on our bed for months because sleeping right-side up is too uncomfortable for him.

Tuft & Needle uses a proprietary “adaptive foam” (not memory foam or latex) for pressure relief, support, and breathability. I was leaning towards this mattress because it’s supposed to be the coolest of the bunch (as in least warm), and I’m a hot sleeper. This discount sealed the deal, along with seeing multiple comments and reviews that people bought more than one mattress from this brand.

Tuft & Needle typically doesn’t offer any coupons or codes (I can’t promise they won’t have a Black Friday deal, but this might be it – and while you’re here, don’t forget to sign up for the email newsletter with Black Friday subscription box deals!), so this was pretty fantastic, especially as we’re about a year behind on getting a new mattress.

I will definitely make sure to review our mattress in a box adventure! No surprises, but the same ease of shopping, that’s for sure!

Check out Tuft & Needle and read below to find out how to get the deal (if you have an American Express card). If you don’t have an AmEx, maybe you can lean on a friend who does (and they can get the points for your purchase!).

Visit your American Express account and check out your offers (it may be near the very end). Add it to your card. Note that as with all American Express offers this could be a targeted offer and not available on your account. If you’ve added it correctly you will see a notice like the one below.

Then, return to Tuft & Needle and check out using the American Express card you added the deal to (notice that if you have an authorized user then to be safe you could add it to both accounts, or just be sure to use the correct card!). You will not be entering any coupon or promo codes, but you must have already added the deal to your card.

If you already have a mattress in a box, I would love to hear about your experience in the comments!
