Tie It On! Men’s Accessory Subscription Box Review

Tie It On! is a monthly subscription box that sends a new tie, bowtie, or pair of socks to you , so your wardrobe receives a monthly refresh.  There are several plans from which to choose — this review is a two-for and covers the Sock it Too Me! and Premium Bow-Tie It On! options.  You can choose to receive socks only ($10), a neck tie, a bowtie (each $18), a premium necktie or bowtie subscription (designer brands, $30), or a style pack featuring either a necktie or bowtie.  The style pack is $25 a month and includes a tie, pair of socks, and an accessory.

The Sock it To Me! included a nice pair of argyle Merona socks.  I’ve seen Merona frequently in Target and they are a well-made dress sock.  They are very soft and have a great stretch from the spandex.  I thought this was a very pretty color combination.

Our Premium Bow-Tie It On! pack included an adjustable bowtie from Alfani.  The pattern is lively, but still very classy.  The tie also goes well with the socks (they are probably paired in this month’s Style Pack).

The tie is adjustable to fit just about any neck.

Voila!  The Alfani tie had a texture that was easy to work with — it wasn’t overly slippery, yet it has an attractive sheen.  When you subscribe to a bowtie pack, you are given the option of pre-tied or self-tie bowties, just in case your bowtie tying skills are rusty.

I thought the selections I received were quite nice.  Both items were pretty, and the patterns were fun, but respectable.  I really like the multiple subscription options that are available — you can really order a plan that fits your styling needs.  The Style Packs include an accessory along with the socks and tie — I’m not sure what the typical accessory is, as no examples were shown on the site, and we didn’t trial the Style Pack.  I am assuming that you would receive a lapel pin, pocket square, tie pin/clip, or other similar item, but that is just a guess.
