I think fall is my season, because I am loving all the pieces in my November Stitch Fix! Ok, my season is always the current season, it’s so fun! Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. Your stylist will send you 5 pieces based on your profile for you to try on at home and hopefully fall in love with. There are no coupons for Stitch Fix but if you hit the jackpot and keep everything, you save 25% on your whole fix (read below for details).
If you’re a Stitch Fix regular, I also suggest checking out Wantable Style Edit too! It’s very similar but the clothing is totally different.
I was really curious to see inside – this was quite a heavy box!
Everything always comes wrapped so neatly! It makes it really fun to open!
Every box includes a set of styling cards with suggestions on how to wear the particular item. There’s usually a dressed up (right) and dressed down (left) version for each piece of clothing. I do wish these cards were accessible in your Stitch Fix profile. If you email them they’ll send them via PDF. Stitch Fix customer service has been super helpful lately! I also find the styling cards very helpful. I am not a naturally good-at-fashion person and these help a LOT. Even if I don’t keep the pieces I use them as inspiration – like my own personal fashion editor!
Here’s how Stitch Fix works: fill out your style profile! This includes style, budget, what you’re looking for, and you can get as detailed as you want with the notes to your stylist. It really really does help to provide notes to what you’re seeking, and a Pinterest board if you have one! You will be charged a $20 styling fee and shipped five items to try on at home. If you keep anything your styling fee will be applied to your order, but if you don’t, you will pay the $20 fee. This is so worth it. If you keep everything you get a 25% discount, so it pays off to be specific. You will check out and get charged through your Stitch Fix account. Return the pieces you don’t want in the prepaid mailer (free shipping!).
Love the fall colors!! I basically squealed when I realized my stylist had sent me 3 layering items!
Kensie Mally Ponte Jacket ($88) The style, fabric, and color of this jacket was perfect for me. It closes with one snap at the breast and is perfect for keeping warm without having a heavy layer. It also looks really polished. I was so happy with this! This is the kind of thing I like to wear over a top that is maybe too revealing or too colorful for me that day (but I wore it anyways).
Staccato Jayde Open Drape Cardigan ($48) We took this photo with the top flung over but it drapes really beautifully as well. I’m on the fence about this one! I absolutely love it but… the sleeves are a bit long. I really like the colorblock cranberry scheme for fall.
Freeway Gretti Cowl Poncho ($78) I feel in love with this one as soon as I saw the sweater fabric. It didn’t really matter WHAT the design was, because I loved it already, but the cowl + poncho + arm holes made it even better! I’m a poncho girl through and through! I’m absolutely delighted with this warm and fuzzy knit!
41Hawthorn Queensland Dolman Jersey Top ($48) This is one of those items that doesn’t look right on the mannequin! instead of a band at the bottom the fabric just funnels down, so you can place it wherever looks best on your body. I love that design and the color and the fabric, but on me my bra straps show, and you know me, I’m not a fancy-bra type of lady. I loved everything about this shirt except the neck (though I’d probably make the sleeves full length if I was changing things).
Octavia Adora Stud Border Tote ($68) Here’s what made my box heavier than normal this month! This is a great studded tote complete with cross-body strap, coin purse, inside pocket, and inside pouch!
So many details on this one! I love how the studs are two-sided. Makes even the inside look polished.
This was a super thoughtful bag design with lots of flexible organizational details.
If I had my pick I probably would have chosen something turquoise for a bag, but I really like this for the holiday season, because it’s BRIGHT red and not that dated more muted red. I will celebrate the official start of the shopping season by switching out my bag tonight! (and p.s. don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter for Black Friday Deals!) Hello November!
This was one of those fixes that I could go full-out and purchase everything or keep just my favorites. Ultimately I think I’m deciding to return the sweater & the dolman top although if I didn’t get clothes in the mail all the time I would totally have kept everything. I loved the style of each piece in my box and was definitely a little sad that the sweater and dolman top didn’t fit absolutely perfectly. Time to schedule another fix! Don’t forget about the new app, which I wrote about here!

Hi, I know this is kinda random, but I bought my roommate this bag and she loves it!! However, the person that sold it to me didn’t include the long strap. Just thought I would reach out and see if you would be interested in selling your long strap. No pressure whatsoever, just thought I’d try. Thanks for your time!

I wish you would show what the clothes look like on YOU rather than how it hangs on a mannequin. I think the mannequin is just like a hanger and doesn’t tell me much about the clothing.
Great box. I so rarely wear a coat here that your sweaters would have been great for me. The price of the one you are sending back is right up my alley too and what I like to spend for such an item but I am there with you and bra straps. Even with fancy one I do not like them to show. It bugs the beegesus out of me. LOL
