There’s a new “Scent Muse” and for the first time she actually talks about the scent and why she chose it! Her description made me add it to my queue and put it in for December!

 Your first month will include a little perfume vial case and velvet holder. Scentbird decants the perfume from the manufacturer’s bottle to a little glass vial that fits in the sprayer. The perfumes are 100% authentic. A card comes with the vial demonstrating its use. You just twist it to spray!

My scent for November was Montale’s Intense Cafe. Here’s the description:

I’m not sure what inspired this scent selection, because I pointedly dislike the scent of coffee! I happened to actually love this scent (so weird)! It was yummy and sweet, like a bakery, and not at all like a coffee.

Value-wise I made a great selection this month (the fragrance was worth about $19). Last month mine was a bit less, but overall I really don’t mind because I like having a fragrance wardrobe to pop in and out of my cases instead of getting hung up on the value (which is always about the cost of the individual perfume, plus you get free shipping, and they are providing the decanting service as well).  I was incredibly pleased with Intense Cafe and looking forward to testing out Dot by Marc Jacobs next month!
