The Ipsy theme for November is “Beauty Blast.” Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription – get 5 items in a cute bag for $10 a month! It’s the most popular subscription box (even though it’s a bag) with over 1.3 million subscribers and 100k new ones monthly. Beauté Basics Sahara Gold Chubby Eyeshadow Pencil ($1 – as far as I know these are sold for about $1 apiece and I’ve only seen them on Groupon but the MSRP is $19.99). This looked really cheap and waxy, but actually applied nicely.
Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara ($9) Great mascara, and fantastic brush! This is my preferred “style” of mascara!
tre’StiQue Mini Matte Lip Crayon ($8.33 – they sell these as part of a $25 mini trio) This is that one with the totally trixy cap (which is also magnetic), but you pull it off and find the actual product! This color is nice, but I had wished it was a bit darker, like the photos! I do love minis, but I preferred the Birchbox Love of Color minis.

INSPR Beauty Angle Liner Brush ($10) This is a really fantastic fine angle brush and I was happy to see a synthetic brush!
Coolway Strong Hold Spray ($3.02) I see a lot of Coolway in the boxes and have never seen it anywhere else – it’s just one of those brands that I think is pretty much only in subscriptions. This was really not my favorite hairspray, I didn’t like it much at all and it weighed down my hair.
But that bag!
This was an okay glam bag for me. It had either $31 or $50 in value, depending if you want to use the Groupon or MSRP for the eyeshadow (the $31 is still super respectable!). I loved the bag, brush, and mascara, and was happy with the eyeshadow, so this bag was still good!

You received some great products this month! I got the mascara (it’s also my preferred type) and the same hair spray (I don’t use hair spray so it went to donate to the women’s shelter bag). My other items were a single gold eye shadow (pretty), a blending eye shadow brush, and the highlighting trio (LOVE!). I so wish I had the points for the Too Faced palette – super lucky you to have snagged it!
I’m getting some similar items as you, the eye-shadow and trestique lippie, and mascara of course. It isn’t the best bag I’ve gotten, but still excited to try a couple new products. And excited to get some of my bonus point redemptions as a result of your give away! Thanks again for the extra points last month!And congrats to this month’s winner!
what did you get for your bonus? i got nothing this month but i was able to snag the too faced chocolate bag the other week!
I got the colour pop palette and a smashbox eyeliner. Love them both!! Didn’t love my november bag, though. It was just alright. But the bonus items made up for it. Hoping for better this month. I would have loved to have snagged that chocolate palette, but I was too late 🙁
