BoxyCharm is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full size samples every month. They’re mostly full-size products (4 full size and one deluxe sample) and the boxes have been able to maintain a consistently high value. The outer box has been redesigned and is now sleek and black.
The October theme was Faces of the Moon.
The information card supplies all the details on each item.
Everything in the November box! FYI there are often variations for the box.
Luxie Rose Gold Concealer Eye Brush ($6) I am not sure I have had a brush coated with antibacterial solution, but this one is. It’s synthetic (and vegan!) which I prefer. It’s also pretty and matches some of my other brushes!
Manna Kadar Lip Locked ($24) I didn’t think this color would be right for me but once I got it on it was nice. This product is a primer, stain, and gloss in one – once the non-sticky gloss is gone you will still have color. Swatch below.
StudioMakeup Soft Blend Blush ($17) I love this package – it was so neat. The color was wildflower instead of Sahara as stated on the card.
The blush itself is a somewhat creamy powder that applies without too much color but you can really build it up, as I did on my hand for the swatch below!
Pur-lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Quadra Benefit Eye Serum ($65) This is an amazing product to include in a box, especially a box that only costs $21! This eye serum is for depuffing, dewrinkling, and decircling. I am thrilled with it!
Coolway Leave-In Treatment ($14.95) I was actually noticing just yesterday that my hair was in need of something because it seemed out of control and had some split ends! This is a spray and leave in product that will help with those plus moisturizing.
I loved getting the serum in this box and that was really a huge savings but I wish they had done more with this theme – because they really could have! Tea scented hand cream, some wild eyeshadows, etc. ultimately the themes are mostly a marketing ploy but I thought they did a nice job last month. However, I paid $21 for $127 of products and I am ok with that!
FYI the Charms rewards program is back online – and you can now skip or cancel this box online! According to Boxycharm, your first box will always be the current month’s box, unless they say otherwise on their site, so if you want this box, sign up before the end of the month!

Did anybody else feel the pur~lisse pur~eye Adore Quadra Benefit Eye Serum made your under eyes dry? I got a dry patch so I stopped using it and now it’s gone. I am not sure if it was there before or the serum caused it, but I am going to try it again to see if I get a dry patch again. I loved everything else, and I LOVED the gloss and blush on my skin!
When I first saw the spoilers for this box I wasn’t excited and thought I would swap most items. However, when I got the box I actually really liked all the items and am keeping the whole box! I mean it’s not an overly exciting box but I will use everything and the value is really great!
Thanks for the recap! Your blush is such a pretty shade…I received a really dark one that doesn’t not translate well on my fair skin (but my sis-in-law will love it!!) Happy with everything else – YEAH Boxycharm!!
It must have been the actual sahara? I liked how mine was very buildable – leads to less blush mistakes (which I am guilty of far too often!).
