Birchbox Man November 2015 Subscription Box Review & Coupon

The November 2015 Birchbox Man was themed “Stand for Something.”  Birchbox Man is a monthly grooming and lifestyle subscription for men. You’ll receive 3-4 samples, plus a lifestyle item. Boxes are $20 per month and you’ll earn points for reviewing the items in the box. You can earn 110 points ($11 in the shop) for picking up a yearly subscription. This is a great deal.

This month’s theme is “Stand for Something,” so we’re giving back by donating $25,000 to The Movember Foundation, the global charity raising funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer, poor mental health, and physical inactivity. PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Moisturizing & Repairing Shampoo ($2.75):  This fortifying shampoo strengthens hair as it cleans, adding moisture and shine.  The fragrance is bright and sweet, laden with the distinctive scent of peaches, grass, and white woods (possibly birch/poplar).

PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Moisturizing & Repairing Conditioner ($1.13):  This light-feeling conditioner adds shine and body while strengthening hair.  It also has the signature PARLOR peach and grass scent.

Clinique for Men Oil Control Face Wash ($2.48):  A great all-around facial cleanser for normal to oily skin.  It is fragrance free, so it won’t interfere with your scent profile or leave an irritating residue on your face.

Cartier Pasha Edition Noire Eau de Toilette spray ($1.62):  The noire version of the popular Pasha fragrance by Cartier combines citrus, amber, and sandalwood to create a spicy and alluring men’s fragrance.  A peppery nose fades into notes of iris and cashmere.

Billy Jealousy Ocean Front Body Wash ($2.25):  Billy Jealousy makes wonderful scrubs, cleansers and moisturizers, and their various white lotion products are a BB staple — this Birchbox exclusive is the first transparent gel I’ve seen from Billy Jealousy.  This light blue gel body wash has a light, fresh, “aquatic” smell (think ocean breeze-style deodorant fragrances), and it is dosed with ginseng and vitamin E to nourish as it cleanses.

XY Find It Smart Beacon Bluetooth Tracker ($25):  This great little item will help you keep track of your valuables.  It is about the size of a half-dollar coin and approximately 3/8″ thick, so it fits comfortably on a key chain, pet collar, or in the pocket of a piece of luggage.

The small size makes it practical for tracking even small items.  Our household has an issue with misplacing iPads and not being able to use the find-it feature because the battery is exhausted.  A little double-sided tape and the XY may solve this issue.

As always, Birchbox Man is a great deal, offering value well above the subscription price – about $35 for my box this month, plus $6 back in points and $2 in points for buying the box.  The grooming items are always practical and commonly-used items like cleansers and moisturizers 0– I love being able to try out new things without drastically altering my routine.  The lifestyle items are also a lot of fun!
