Yogi Surprise, in addition to its regular monthly lifestyle box, has a jewelry+treat only subscription box. Every month you’ll get 2 handmade yoga-inspired jewelry piece and 1 superfood or organic chocolate treat. Yogi Surprise Jewelry is fairtrade, sustainably harvested, nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free, made in Bali, Indonesia, and 10% of all proceeds are given to further education for the Balinese families who handmake the jewelry pieces.

This month’s jewelry was inspired by the theme “Celebrating Life!” The pieces were designed to call attention to the strength of your unique light.

The information card explains the selections. Yogi Surprise omitted suggested retail values from the card, which I think was a good idea. In general I think this box is an excellent value for this style of jewelry – you’d pay at least the cost of the box for either piece in any given month, plus you get shipping, a treat, and the other piece free!

Labradorite Pendant Necklace (MSRP $115 from the spoiler) :I love all stones that are iridescent so I was excited when I saw the spoiler for this month.

This is quite a substantial piece and perfectly on trend for fall with the long pendant and chunky crystal. Labradorite is used to increased self-reliance and bring clarity and insight and remove self-doubt.

Amazonite Hamsa Bracelet: What a pretty bracelet – and it totally stacks beautifully with last month’s elephant bracelet!. Amazonite is used to stimulate the heart chakra to cultivate truth, openness, and self-love. The hamsa hand is a traditional protection ward. I found the sizing on this bracelet to be much better – and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a size option in the future for Yogi Surprise Jewelry Box!

Taza Chocolate Mexicano Chocolate Disc, Salted Almond ($5.95) Stone-ground chocolate is perfect for this subscription box and Taza is one of the best if not the best producer. I love that they selected salted almond (but also I would love to see a “fire” themed month with some spicy chocolate!).

I do wish my labradorite crystal was a little more glitzy but you can see the life in it simmering below the surface. I was incredibly pleased with this month’s jewelry selections – I thought they were really lovely and fit the theme well. I was also thrilled to see the return of actual chocolate – happy fall!
