WODBOM CrossFit Subscription Box Review – September 2015

WODBOM is a monthly subscription box that sends gear, nutrition, and apparel from the best companies specializing in supplies for Crossfit enthusiasts every month. You’ll get 5-6 deluxe and full size products perfect for your next WOD. Every box will typically include 3-4 snacks and nutrition items plus 2-3 gear, accessory, and apparel items. This box is run by a diehard CrossFitting husband and wife team – kind of like us, but much healthier. (Our kids CrossFit – baby steps!).

Jerkfit Nubs ($9.95) These thumb sleeves replace crappy sweaty tape and save tons of money over the year! The Amazon reviews say they are super effective and actually protect your thumbs from rips while also reducing friction and absorbing sweat!

Cross Fixe Hands Tube & Bar (~$10) 100% organic, this soothes and moisturizes while stimulating rapid skin recovery – a must if you are doing CrossFit several times a week! There was also a bar version included but I couldn’t find it online.  This product is beeswax and apricot kernel and coconut oil based and packed with antioxidants and essential oils (and smells really great).

Wod Welder Coffee Soap ($6.95)  Infused with ground coffee and coffee essential oil – and only all natural ingredients including shea butter! This caffeinated soap is great for stimulating cell renewal. My husband was totally pumped about this bar – it’s perfect for getting off the grime.

Fuel for Fire Tropical Fruit & Protein Fuel Pack ($3) This product is pretty much a fruit squeezy pouch with the addition of some nice whey – keeping the carbs balanced and adding some essential protein to the snack. Great for slurping down before or after WOD.

Caffeine and Kilos PR Blend Coffee ($17.50) PR Blend is roasted and blended with a high caffeine content, and is also organic.

I’m not really sure my husband should be allowed to drink this coffee but I’m sure it will be perfect for perking you up pre-workout!

Hail Merry Chocolate Macaroons ($5) Raw (low-temp dehydrated) and natural macaroons – we love Hail Merry products and they are delicious gluten-free, vegan, and super paleo friendly snack items.

This was a great subscription and really nicely curated for the needs of the CrossFit addict – some lifting gear that is very specific to CrossFit injuries, high nutrition snacks, and a whole heap of internal and external caffeine application items (coffee & coffee-infused soap)! It had a great value for this type of box too – about $52.
