Troll Pack Subscription Box Review

Troll Pack is a prankster’s dream.  Each month you receive fun pranks, jokester gadgets, and a humorous T-shirt.  Everything you need to troll your friends and be a general nuisance!

The box itself is pretty cool, with its angry Troll-boy logo.  There isn’t an info card, but the items are pretty self-explanatory and the gag items are drawn from among the classic gags (they remind me of the last few pages of Boy’s Life magazine, which was always replete with buzzing gum, black-eye spyglasses, and the like).

Everything in the box.  In addition to the feature items, we received a few Troll Pack stickers.

‘Murica! the shirt:  This humorous Tee features an odd collection of Americana — The troll boy stands atop cheeseburger, passing gas while wearing a “Fart Loading 97%” shirt.  I get the eagle, but am not sure of the reason for the shark and bear (maybe a California thing).  I love the prominence of the “‘Murica!”, the term used by patriots to refer to our beloved country.

A couple classics:  Shock Chewing Gum and a Shock Pen.  I couldn’t get the pen to work (probably a dead battery) — I think it is supposed to zap your friend when he clicks the button to extend the writing point.  The chewing gum gives a jolt when you pull on the partially extracted “stick of gum.”  This one worked just fine.

The back of the Let ’em ROLL! lottery ticket.  This prank may not work on people who always read the fine print before doing anything.  At first glance, it looks pretty authentic.

Plastic Cockroaches:  It doesn’t get much grosser than cockroaches.  When strategically placed, these are able to induce some major freak outs!

Let ’em Roll Scratch Off Ticket:  This is a great item to include in a birthday or other card (hopefully, accompanying a real gift).  This classic joke works because no one seems to inspect scratchers too closely before scratching — and then you are hooked.

We thought this was fun subscription.  The prank items are cheaply made, but I don’t think there are artisan versions of these sorts of items actually available anywhere — it’s their nature.  The pranks are the classic low-brow type, so get ready for some unsophisticated fun!
