SprezzaBox Men’s Subscription Box Review + Coupon – October 2015

SprezzaBox is a men’s accessories subscription. Every month you’ll receive several high quality accessories and a grooming item, all for $28 per month.  Items are chosen on the basis of the season and current trends – it’s a curated mix of accessories that ensure you will always look dapper.  Selections balance wearables and grooming or accessories, and the clothing items tend to complement each other and are wearable within a single, sharply-coordinated ensemble.

This box is the Grove Box.  SprezzaBox calls boxes by a name that represents NYC instead of the month.  The naming convention conveys the overall style of SprezzaBox — sharp and cleverly sophisticated.  October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and SprezzaBox has included a couple nods in this box to the cause, changing up their logo and info card coloring.

Basic information card with details of all the items.  A pretty good haul for a $28 box.  The box features a sock, tie, and pocket-square combo that goes well together in a single outfit.  Although it cuts the surprise element down a little, it is really nice to essentially get an outfit refresh every month instead of adding random pieces to your collection hoping it comes together somewhere down the line (I’m not trendy enough for the mismatched-is-matched style philosophy).

The classic SprezzaBox ensemble:  tie, pocket square, socks, grooming item, and sweet accent accessory.  This month’s theme, GROVE, looks to be a tribute to hunting season. The Socks a and tie sport as close to blaze orange as is possible in good taste, and the pocket square and lapel pin are hunting themed, as well.

CAT Footwear Utili-Key 6-in-1 Tool ($15):  This tiny tool can ride along like a key, but it contains a bottle opener, cutting edges, and multiple screwdriver.

In the post-pocketknife era, this handy tool can travel with you to more places (this list probably still excludes air travel, though) land helps you be prepared for those minor emergencies that require a simple tool.

Supersmile Professional Whitening Gum ($5):  Gum is by far the easiest way to work whitening into your day.  This handy 12 pack lets you do so while staying on the move.

Pocketsqua.re Camo Square ($22):  At first, I thought SprezzaBox might have ditched their color-coordination ethos, but it is clear that they were merely riffing on the hunting theme.  This square makes a good tongue-in-check accessory for a formal suit, but it genuinely works well with a earthy-toned sport jacket.

SPREZZA Lapel Pin ($12): This obviously works well with the theme, but think it is a great pin for anytime use.  Perfect for Christmas parties and holiday season wear!  Brandy also has an antler-themed necklace so we can match.

SPREZZA Socks ($12):  Sprezza has started incorporating their own label into their offerings.  These socks are dress-weight (moderately thin) and comfy.  I like the elastic cuff at the top — it holds the sock up without creating an entire shin of crew-cock ribbing.  The color is more toned-down that blaze orange — it’s a pumpkin orange perfect for Halloween.

Weekend Casual Necktie ($20):  Custom-made for Sprezza, this tie has a great herringbone patterns and a perfect fall palette.  Reminiscent of foliage, this is a wonderful tie for a brown suit, casual sweater, or Thanksgiving dinner.  The matte-type finish on this tie works really well with the pattern, making it appear textured.

This month’s items are an amazing estimated $86 in value!

There was a bit of an overarching hunting theme, it seemed, but the individual pieces each have an additional holiday for which they are perfectly suited — this one box had accessories perfect for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!
