Num-Nums Munch Box is a monthly snack subscription box for people with allergy and other dietary restrictions, with multiple options! Boxes available are: dairy-free, peanut and tree-nut free, gluten-free, vegan, and top 8 allergen free. Most selections are also free of the top 8 allergens: dairy, soy, wheat, gluten, egg, peanut, tree nut, fish, and shellfish. You can choose a single or double Num-Nums Munch Box!
The box comes with a listing of all the items inside. It would great for the card to include all the allergens each item is free of for easy identification (like for mixed households).
All the items in the box! It was pretty obvious from looking at my box that it was gluten-free, but it appears to be nut-free as well.
Enjoy Life Margherita Pizza Plentils & Enjoy Life Garlic & Parmesan Plentils: I do enjoy these! Light and crispy with a good flavor these snacks are vegan and gluten free. The Parmesan ones have no dairy and are vegan! These are made with lentil powder, potato starch, oil, and seasonings.
Beanfirlds Bean & Rice Chips – Nacho: I’ve had these chips quite a few times. They’re corn free and made from beans and rice. Even though they’re nacho flavored they’re also vegan, and gluten-free. I like the nice balance of protein and fiber in these chips!
Farmer’s Crate Baked Beet Thins: just non-GMO beets and sugar! I am saving these to eat with some goat cheese. It sounds perfectly reasonable to me. This is a fun snack that I’d never seen before.
Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn: Not just gluten free, it’s really delicious non-GMO certified gluten-free popcorn, and a perfect snack!! I’m always happy to see this brand in a box.
Laiki Black Rice Crackers: These are nutty, puffy, and a bit salty. I have sampled them in a variety of boxes and eat them most of the time. They won the best cracker in the Specialty Food Innovation awards for 2015!
ThinkFruit Cherries: A cute little individual pouch of whole dried (sugar sweetened) cherries. Yummy! I don’t want to get crazy and leave out other dried fruits, but dried cherries are pretty much the best.
Pure Organic Wildberry Apple Fruit & Veggie Strip: This is not just fruits but veggies too! A great snack and you have no idea that veggies are in there (note that Nums-Nums does not make boxes for those “allergic” to vegetables!!). Non-GMO, organic, and certified gluten-free
No Nuttin Apple Cinnamon Bar: This bar is certified gluten free, nut free, and apple cinnamon flavor with real granny apple chunks.
Glee Gum in Peppermint: I actually don’t think I’d had the mint version of this gum, which is all natural and made from chicle. All Glee Gum is vegetarian, Non-GMO Project Verified, certified kosher, additive free, dairy free, wheat free, gluten free, egg free, yeast free, nut free, and peanut free.
This is a great subscription for people with food allergies and is perfect for discovering new and safe snack options. There were a wide variety of options with varied tastes and textures. The box included allergy-free versions of traditional favorites, plus some more unusual snacks like the beet chips! I also liked how there was a lot of overlap and think that this box would be great for families with mixed allergies as well.
