This would make a fun gift for anyone of Irish heritage or that loves the beautiful artisan products from Ireland.

I die at the cuteness of this item.

There was a wee bit of packing mixup with this box (which was mishandled by the post office). It was missing the information sheet and had the August postcard in it – my July and August boxes were packed together and for review separately from the normal packing process so I don’t believe this would have happened for regular subscribers. Extensive information about each product and its maker/designer comes with the box and they emailed us the information for the review. We really liked their information sheet because it gave each item a real sense of place and we got to learn about the influences of each item, the inspirations of the designer, and more!

Everything in my July MyIrelandBox!

June McIntyre Postcard ($5) I got a different postcard but this is the one that was in subscribers’ boxes for July.  You can send the card or frame it – up to you! It’s a very high quality postcard! I love the sheep. Apparently I am crazy about sheep and didn’t know it (read below!).

Ursula Celano Sheep Tea Towel ($10.50ish) This is absolutely darling and I love it. I would use this towel when I was feeling a bit blue because it’s hard to be sad with a sheep towel.  The Ursula Celano brand is all about designs that say ‘Ireland’ and she’s definitely an Irish-contemporary craft artist. This is modern but totally Irish!

The Wool Felt Shop Natural Wool Felt Sheep ($33.50ish) just look at this felted cutie! His face!  Again – sheep apparently put me in a great mood because I cannot help but smile! It’s of course felted from Irish wool and made right in Ireland.  The artistry that goes into this is impressive. I love him. He is not a toy and I’m not letting my kids take him away. I had a terrible day and he made me very happy. His name is Albert.  Jamie Lewis designs and makes the sheeplings and I found it interesting that he learned the art of wool felting from his mother – it’s not a craft with a terrible amount of male artists.

This was another great box and I absolutely loved the theme.  There really isn’t anything better than sheep! I loved how this box was pastoral by the theme but represented new interpretations of traditional Irish craft!
