Bespoke Post is a men’s lifestyle subscription box. Each month, you’ll get to choose from one of the limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. There are usually two or three new boxes to choose from every month in addition to a selection of past boxes. One of the great things about this subscription is that you can skip the month if you’re not interested in it. Save $9 on your first box with coupon code FREEBEER.

The latest Bespoke Post is Jet Set.

Breeze through the airport with style in tow.

Air travel can be rough. And from long security lines to the ever-present danger of flight delays, getting to the tarmac smoothly isn’t always in the cards. So come prepared with handsome, functional, pocket-friendly supplies and make things a whole lot easier. We can’t do anything about the TSA or your four hour flight delay, but we can make sure that you’ll be set for every leg of the journey.

The booklet is an extended info card, providing a paragraph of information on each item in your box.  The tone is light and fun, but you get the pertinent details.  Then, there is always a brief style, grooming, or hacking guide that is thematically related to your current Bespoke Post selections — this box had tips on comfortable travel wear.

Everything in the Bespoke Post JET SET box.  As usual, the selections are eminently practical, but elegant, as well.

Passport Wallet – Line of Trade (estimated at $50 – $75):  This photo best captures the true color of the leather.  Exact pricing on this particular item is difficult to pin down, as it is not currently listed on the Bespoke shop.  The other line of trade wallets, however are currently priced at $50 (reduced from $75), and $55, so that is probably the ballpark.

The exterior is finished leather tanned in Red Wing, Minnesota.  You can tell it will wear well, gaining character over time.

The final stitching is done in Connecticut.  The result is a four-pocket wallet that will hold your essentials — passport, a couple credit cards, driver’s license, and some cash.  It has a slim profile which makes it fit nicely in an inner jacket pocket or even a pants pocket, provided you don’t overload it.

Rose Stone Portable Charger – Powerocks ($30.95):  the greatest fear of any modern traveller is running out of charge on their mobile devices.  This power block packs 6000 mAh of power, enough to charge most phones up to 4 times.  The USB female ports mean it can charge nearly any device that has a USB compatible cord, and it can even charge multiple devices simultaneously (it has two USB ports — I’m unsure if you could do more than that by splitting).  It comes with its charge cable and a cloth carry bag.

LEDs light up with the touch of a button to indicate the current charge level remaining in the block.

Travel Kit – Ursa Major (~$8):  I like Ursa Major grooming products — I’ve used their shaving lotion and balm, and I just finished a tube of the face wash (I have been using it as my in-shower face cleanser).  The face wash has an invigorating, slightly menthol tingle and woodsy-lanolin aroma.  This face-centric collection removes the grease and grime that accumulates quick in the recycled air environment of a plane.  The balm is great for protecting against the ultra-dry air, too.  Also included are some face wipes for a quick refresh — a must for airplane travel.

Bespoke Post was one of my very first subscription boxes, and I still order it regularly.  Everything is very high quality, and the fashion items are very tasteful.  Most of all, I find that the selections are extremely useful.  The Jet Set box is a fine example of how Bespoke Post identifies the key concerns arising in a common scenario and offers practical, beautiful solutions.
