The October 1Up Box theme was NIGHTMARE! 1 Up Box is a geek and gamer subscription box. They describe themselves as offering something remarkable, something creative, and something unique in which all geeks and gamers can fancy. Each month, receive 4-6 items including gear, snacks, toys, art, and just about anything that spells awesome.
The information card is slightly different than most, but still contains all the items.
Usually the theme is on the back side, but it wasn’t this month.

Aha! There’s my theme! The box included the theme as a poster with favorite Halloween characters. Unfortunately it was folded 🙁

Paracord Bracelet ($1.50) This is just like the Loot Crate one, except it glows in the dark! Awesome!
Boo Mask ($4?) For sleeping, from Mario and Yoshi.
Funko Pocket POP! Keychain – Jack Skellington ($7.99)
Funko Pocket POP! Keychain – Walking Dead Daryl Dixon ($5.04)
This box would have been a little light were it not for the keychains. I don’t know anyone who would complain about two Halloween themed Pocket POP!s in this box! I love Jack! Daryl will go to my father-in-law for Christmas.
The Apokélypse T-Shirt ($15) No proton weapons or ghost vacuums stand a chance against those ghosts!
This wasn’t a huge value box this month, but it was fun. My verdict hasn’t changed on it – a great box for kids, but adults may not love all the items. This month was particularly adult friendly with the two pops (and less small-child friendly because of the theme), but it had great curation, and I saw a lot of characters and themes I hadn’t seen in other Halloween boxes!
