Walmart Beauty Box is a quarterly sample box – just $5 for the shipping and handling. It is not my favorite beauty box (I prefer Birchbox – you can get high end samples monthly for the same price after points – read my last Birchbox review), or another of the beauty boxes once in a while for the same price, and come home with full size and deluxe samples. But if you want a sampling experience for items you can buy at Walmart, this is your box.

These items are good for travel, or to test out at home without buying the full size.
RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum ($15.98) This was a wow item for this box! This combines retinol to actually work on wrinkles with dimethicone for a smoothed appearance. A really nice item for this box.
Schick Hydro Silk Disposable Razor ($3) I was thrilled to get a razor – I needed one! I have one of my husband’s old 2 blade razors in the shower and it’s terrible.
Samples: Crest 3D White Brilliance Deep Cleaning Toothpaste & Whitening Finisher, Nivea Extended Moisture, plus $1 Coupon for Dove Advanced Care.
The total value of my box was a very nice $20.33. Not the best ever, but great for a $5 box. If you didn’t like the large item you probably wouldn’t be very happy because you could just go to Walmart and hit up the travel size aisle instead, but if you’re looking for a deal and are OK with a surprise product you’ll probably be happy with this box – especially if you’re looking for stocking stuffers or donations. Remember that I’m over 35, so I get the “old lady box” based on my profile. More youthful subscribers received items like lip gloss and fragrance samples along with bath and body products.

The razor has a slimy gell on it that makes my legs itch like crazy. I didn’t like the razor. Even if I scrub the slimy stuff off the cut isn’t very good. My legs feel prickly by the evening.
You forgot to list the John Frieda 7-Day Volume! That’s one of my favorite discoveries. 🙂
well i’m a total dork! i mentioned it in my video. I have something like 6 bottles and i desperately want to use it – but i never dry my hair. have you used it without blowdrying??
I have fine hair (dries fast) so rarely blow dry myself either. Try it! I think it’s awesome.
I also got this box and thought it was great!
I didn’t receive the Roc serum but would have LOVED that since I’m very open to skincare items. Most of our little samples were the same, but instead of the Roc, Curel, and 7 Day Volume, I received:
– Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer (foil packets)
– Bioré self heating one minute mask (foil packet)
– L’oréal Sublime Bronze self-tanning lotion (travel size)
– Aussie Mega hairspray (travel size)
– Revlon Ultra HD lipstick (I would have loved this if it wasn’t so NOT my color LOL!)
– only one packet of Nivea lotion
More travel-sized items for me, but again I would have preferred the Roc. Oh well, this is probably the best Walmart box I’ve received so far, so no complaints! 😀
Yes, these are the items I received also! I am treating these items as travel items or guest bathroom items. I do wish I had received that nice sized Roc serum though. Maybe I should go change my age…
Ha! I did the same thing, Natalie and now I’m kicking myself because I would have liked that full-size Roc serum vs the self-tanning lotion and bright red lipstick I did get. Drats! Oh well, you win some, you lose some… 😉
I went to their website and it said that boxes may vary depending on what is available. I guess they ran out before making my box.
I didn’t get the Roc serum in my box. I got a couple of foil packet samples instead. : (
UGH this is what happened to me a couple months ago. I never emailed them about it but it’s worth a try. Was everything else exactly the same?
I haven’t received mine yet but I’d be happy with these products. The serum alone is really nice. Although, I lowered my age so I wouldn’t get the “old lady” box. lol I like receiving make-up products so I guess I’ll see what I get. For $5 it’s always worth it. 🙂
