All the items in the September box.

Blissoma Herbal Gel Cleanser ($16) This is a dual makeup remover and face wash all in one! Designed for ultra sensitive, oily, problem, and all skin types plus the delicate eye area, it is packed with natural actives and is an excellent all-natural routine simplifier! It’s non-drying and non-stripping, which is excellent.

MSC Skin Care Exfoliating Body Scrub – Grapefruit and Spearmint ($3.14?) This has an amazing scent! I believe the container is about 1 ounce, so that’s what I went with for the value calculation. It has raw sugar for exfoliation, plus shea butter and sunflower oil to soften – along with the fantastic combination of grapefruit and spearmint essential oils. This is going in my next shower. It smells great and I love this brand!

Mahalo Pele Mask ($3.75?) This item is $64 for the 1.7 oz size and the entire thing without the lid is 0.4 ounces, so I’m guessing that it’s probably 0.1 ounce of product. We made a bit of a mess of it – I always do when it’s a powder and I don’t realize it!  Made with “‘botox-plant’ Hibiscus, anti-inflammatory Turmeric, collagen-boosting vitamin C, anti-aging Neem leaf, oxygenating Cayenne, sebum-balancing Witch Hazel, wrinkle-fading Guava, acne-fighting Holy Basil, toxin-magnet Volcanic Ash Clay and bacteria-absorbing Activated Bamboo Charcoal.” (I love their description because it tells you why each item is in there!) I’m not sure that it “swelled and sizzled” when I added water to it, but I did feel a slight tingle! Oxygenating cayenne at work! This was ok for me – I wouldn’t buy the full size but I would love to try their balm.

Elate Lipstick in Lively ($17) What a gorgeous lipstick! This is a “tinted” lipstick, and I almost thought it could work as a luminizer or cream blush too – it’s so lightly colored that it’s very versatile. It uses shea and mango butter and is scented with organic vanilla essential oil (though I cannot say that I could smell it).

This was actually multiple swipes with the lipstick! It’s very sheer and so lovely. Love it – it’s a keeper.

Even though the value was a bit tough to calculate this month, it was roughly $40, which was excellent (the box only costs $15 and is totally vegan and cruelty-free).  Only one brand that wasn’t new to me, several really excellent products – including that amazing lip color! I’m very happy with the box this month.

Petit Vour is currently offering a free Damask Rose Perfume Rollerball ($26 value) with 6-month subscription! Just use coupon code DAMASKROSE.  Good while supplies last.

I so wanted the facial cleanser to work for me but my allergies couldn’t get past the smell. I do not know the fragrance that was so strongly present in this but my sensitive skin and allergy eyes did not like it. So now I have to pass on to someone else 🙁 . Couldn’t use the Enzyme Scrub I got in last months box either. I am allowing one more box and if I can’t use many of those products either I believe I will cancel. I really like the cruelty-free and vegan part of this but so many natural products seen to be scented too strongly for me. Hopefully next month will be better.
