paper goose august 2015unboxing Alas, we didn’t grab a photo of this before tiny hands started exploring. But it made for a gorgeous review shot.

paper goose august 2015review You can see that my review shot is somewhat less inspired. All the papers are tied together with a nice ribbon, which you can also use for an embellishment!

Heidi Swapp “Favorite Things” Die-Cut Ephemera:  This had a fantastic variety of attachment doo-dads and other wonderful die-cut items – flags, roses, sayings, numerals, punches, flowers, and geometric elements! I loved the modern retro sort of scheme, it was like a british couch from the 50s was transported to 2015 and upcycled.

DoodleBug Designs Teensy Type & another alpha: I love the sticker alphabets because I cannot letter anything. At all.  Thus makes everything cute and honestly if I somehow mess up placing the stickers, I just remove them. I haven’t ruined everything.

Scroll Frame Stickers: For creating a quick frame – another awesome find for someone who can’t letter/write! This is so easy!

Heidi Swapp Photo Flipbook: This is perfect for adding some dimension and extra photos to a single page. You can washi this on, glue dot it on, and place photos inside to flip through. You can also add little tags and embellish the flipbook itself. This is a neat item and I haven’t seen it before!

Project Life “Inspire” Cards: Five 4 x 6 cards and 15 3 x 5 cards from the Inspire line.

It’s like $30 to buy the Inspire kit so this is absolutely perfect to have a nice stock of them, but not have to buy all of them (and have all your pages look exactly the same!).

These were gorgeous and I loved how they were shipped in a page protector. That was absolutely brilliant. I may not use all of these in my design, but we’ll write sweet notes to the kids and washi them on the walls (we really do tape everything on the walls here!).

Patterned Paper and Cardstock: These were of course the standard 12 x 12 size. The pink and blue are the card stock, and very sturdy. The others are the patterned papers. I loved the vectored design!

And also, here’s the super gorgeous September box!

I wanted to hold onto the last glimpse of bright airy colors before I explode into an orange/yellow/red cloud of autumn ecstasy!

My first love is the paper, and I am so happy with all of these designs! Besides the shimmery white cardstock, they are all double sided… I also included some cute Color Wash alphabet stickers, rub-on transfers from Amy Tangerine (tutorial coming soon!), sticker labels that are great for adding smaller titles, actual wood veneer shapes that add some great dimension, and my favorite: washi tape!

I was impressed by the quality of the items – the paper in particular. I loved how everything was curated for a cohesive theme and color scheme even though the products were for different lines. I have to say, this is probably the first scrapbooking box where I’ve had the confidence to say that I will probably use these. Reader (and top commenter!) Jenny has told me to do one layout at a time, and get a frame for the page and then work on the next, then compile them into a book. I think I can do that! The only bummer about this box is that it requires higher shipping due to the large square shape – but the bonus is that you’ll get a free paper holder every month! The Paper Goose box is absolutely perfect as a slim storable project box!

This is a very cute box. I can’t wait to see some of your pages. 🙂 Oh and since I just had the thought you could use the little frame stickers and some alpha stickers right on a picture to put in a regular frame. I may have to try that with some of the pictures I send out for the holidays. A nice sticker frame and the year would be a quick adder to a pic going to grandparents.
