mission cute september 2015 box

HeartMeter was the charity of the month for September’s Mission Cute. Mission Cute is a monthly subscription box of cute once a month – half the net proceeds go to that month’s nonprofit pick.  Each MissionCute box comes with at least 2 items made by small-but-mighty artisans and local businesses.  By joining MissionCute, you’ll receive a box of cute stuff that comes straight from small businesses and local artisans.

When I opened the September Mission Cute I was greeted with this donation envelope! HeartMeter is a charity that collects used video games for kids at hospitals, which is a totally awesome idea! I am hoping they get tons of donations. Plus, as the featured charity of the month they get 50% of the proceeds from September subscriptions.

I really love the wrapping. I just think it’s cute and puts a smile on my face. They had a new pattern this month!

All the items in the September box!

mission cute september 2015 IMG_8449HeartMeter Print ($9) this is just so touching. It’s a quote from Kingdom Hearts (which is a video game) and inspirational to everyone but especially sick kids. I am going to hang this in my office. I really hope this charity takes off. Everyone donated things for younger kids but what do the older ones do all day?

There was also a HeartMeter sticker in the box – perfect for showing your support on your laptop.

mission cute september 2015 IMG_8453 Adam Rabbit Pyrite Cluster Stud Earrings ($20) I totally auto-want any Adam Rabbit piece I have ever seen and these were absolutely no exception! I love the style of them and I love the design perspective

These were wrapped in tissue and you should probably store them in a jewelry pouch. Pyrite will cut glass – it’s very hard.

MissionCute Heart of Gold Necklace ($12) this is a totally awesome necklace – I loved the style of it and the length. It’s not fine jewelry but it tickled my fancy today.  Plus it’s perfect for the theme.

mission cute september 2015 IMG_8456Emoji Stickers ($5) These were actually the first items I pulled out of the box and I knew I was just going to love this box. They made me laugh but I also simultaneously asked myself if I could buy six sheets of emoji poop stickers.

Thankful Tote ($19) This is such a great tote – high quality with a great message. I was happy to see a really sturdy tote! This is going to be my mantra for the week.

This was a ridiculously good box. I loved the theme and the charity – and especially the increased focus on the charity in the theme for the month. It really made sense for HeartMeter. This is a great subscription for learning about some of the great work people are doing all over the world and you get great boxes (around $65 in value this month). It would be really hard not to love this subscription.
