Journaling is a great way for teens to grapple with their emotions and life experiences. This one has a lovely tie that ends with a leaf – I thought it was really pretty! The included crystal pen is cute and comes with a stylus on the end, too. I liked this item because you could purchase inserts for replacements – I’m certain that it’s a standard filofax size.
Affirmation Cards + Mason Jar ($15) This deck of 35 cards helps develop a positive mindset for the day.
Display your daily affirmation in your jar, and switch it out daily, or when you think it’s been worked on enough for now. You can also washi these into your journal or tack them on your mood board. Teenage girls seem to respond to these types of messages very well. I liked how there was an information card in the deck to remind girls how to use the cards.
These cards can really get young women thinking and improve their mental and emotional mindset.

I think this is a cute box for the right young woman who is receptive to affirming messages to help inspire her through her teen years. The September edition of this box was beauty focused with makeup and makeup tools – “All Eyes On You” – so I’d expect this box to interpret the monthly theme in a variety of ways and through a variety of products. Because of the makeup, I also expect this box to be appropriate for teens 14+ – as LYFnow suggests.
