This is a gigantic box, and very heavy. We weren’t sure what it included, but we thought maybe plates or a giant vase!

The card on top notes the crate value.  Everything was extremely well protected, wrapped up, and packed with cornstarch peanuts.

There’s an information sheet this month! There are a few misspellings, but FYI – I don’t think the box owners’ first language is English.

Everything in the August Linen Crate Dining Room Box! And WOW!

Trends Collections Placemats (This came in a set of 4 and then another set of 2) ($5 each – $30) I wasn’t sure about the $5 each, but they are woven, durable, and shiny – almost metallic (very pretty!), and I’ve totally seen placemats for $5 each at Kohl’s so sure! I actually really love these and they should wash off right in the sink under running water. Double score for me.  We’ll show these in more detail when we do the video review – subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don’t miss it. These are a really cool design.

Torre & Tagus Fina Stainless Steel Leaf Platter ($55) Gorgeous! I love this, it’s like a giant banana leaf and it has a great ridge in the middle to separate items or wet/dry or cheese/crackers or whatever you can dream up. I love the design, and also the fact that it’s stainless steel! This is a piece to keep forever! It’s modern and chic and will go perfectly with my decor.

Q-Squared Appetizer Plates – Essex ($6 each – $36) These are gorgeous, heavy plates – and they’re melamine! That’s really neat because they look extremely fancy! This pattern is called Essex: “A testament to modern opulence, Essex is inspired by the bold geometrics and lavish lifestyle of art deco.” These plates are top and bottom dishwasher safe, but not microwave safe (no melamine plates are). There was a mistake on the card – these are $5 each instead of $9. Q-Squared does sell $9 appetizer plates in different patterns, and I think they just used the same price for all, but these have a $5 MSRP.

Q-Squared Dinner Plates ($14 each – $84) These look the same size as the ones above, but they’re much larger! I cannot decide which one I love best! They have a very elegant look. FYI – Macy’s sells this brand. I’ve been impressed with Linen Crate’s ability to source brands sold by top department stores and put them at a huge discount into a curated box. You can see in the photo below you can create different looks by rotating the appetizer plate!

This was an amazing box and I absolutely loved it! I didn’t expect anything like it and it really inspired us for our dining room (we’re still deciding on the decor!). It turns out we love this glam vibe! Despite the mistake (which I think was honest) on the appetizer plate calculations, the box value was still $205, which is a hefty savings over the purchase price.  The items are high quality and I was impressed with this box – and with Linen Crate’s adjustment of their service to provide a ton of value in the styles that their subscribers like!

The next box is a Kitchen Themed Box, and I’m really excited about that one! The Acacia Bark-Edge Round Serving Board retails at $55.00 will be in some boxes!  This is such a great home box! I can’t wait to paint now and really get going on a glam dining room! I just have to pick out a light fixture first. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s a subscription for that!!
