geek me box august 2015 box
Geek Me Box is a mystery geek and gamer monthly subscription box, with 5-8 items and an epic shirt guaranteed. This is a really excellent subscription and I have really enjoyed watching them evolve over the last few months.

The August theme was Ghostbusters & Deadpool (no official theme name!). This month had both an information card and outside box branding. And tissue! I appreciate these touches!

Everything in the August 2015 Geek Me Box.

Ghostbusters Titans Vinyl Figure – Winston ($10.50) I had a hard time finding this online, even though they came out at the end of May! They are pretty hard to find! This will go perfectly with my Ghostbusters Ecto-1 from Titans!

Marvel Extreme Air Freshener – Deadpool ($6.16) I always think of Deadpool when I think of fresh air! This was either Spider-Man or Deadpool.

Marvel Deadpool Car & Fridge Magnet ($5) All subscribers received a Deadpool car & fridge magnet! I liked how sturdy this was and we’re going to see a lot more Deadpool in the lead up to the movie! Geek Me Box is ahead of the pack. FYI – I linked to a takeoff on a British car magnet, also a Marvel product.

Transformers Prime Collectible Figurines & 3D Puzzle Cards ($6.99) Megatron! geek me box august 2015 IMG_6978

There are 30 different figures and if you collect them all you’ll have all the pieces to a 3-D puzzle. Nobody tell my children about the puzzle.

Doodle Jump Mini Doodles ($5.98) One doodle plus surprise doodle! This is a fun collectible and fun whether you like the game or not. I love Mr. Pirate and I am sure the birthday character will come in handy too.

Oodles of Doodles to collect! geek me box august 2015 shirt

Ghostbusters + Back To The Future III Mashup T-Shirt ($15) For anyone that’s my age, these are two (or three) ultimate classics that can never be forgotten (yes, classics! Even the hoverboards!), and now they are together in one geektastic shirt. This is pretty dorky. It’s great! I wrote this review a few days ago and amusingly enough my husband and I turned on the TV last night to find Back to the Future III on during the epic train rescue scene!

The theme for September! I’m not sure what it means, but there’s probably a Breaking Bad, Dead Pool, and Pokemon item!

This was a fun box!! It had around $50 in value, which was pretty excellent, and was another solid entry in this subscription. One of the things I like about this box is that it seems right for us as a family without being too juvenile – both adults & kids can enjoy it!

Nice box. Totally random we ran into walmart yesterday (yes shoot me now) and they have a whole section of mystery bags for different things. C says he wants them all for Christmas so I looked over at M and said “looks like we know what is going in the stockings” LOL I think we will have a fun mystery bag/box stocking palooza at our house this year.
