This new version of the Allure Beauty Box is pretty amazing! There are 7 products in my box this month! Allure Beauty Box is a beauty subscription that sends 5 deluxe samples – makeup, skin, hair, accessories, and fragrance. Samples are chosen by Allure magazine editors. The new name is confusing, because what’s now known as Allure Beauty Thrills was formerly the Allure Beauty Box. This box was formerly managed by Beauty Bar, but no more.
There’s a mini magazine in every box and it’s very editorial – the Allure editors pick every product and give tips on use and why they like it. Or why you might not. The mini-mag is exactly the same as it was before.
Everything in the box! It looks exactly the same! There are 7 products in the September box!
PIXI by Petra Glow Tonic ($2.21) An alcohol-free toner with glycolic acid. I have a similar one that I love so I’m excited to try this one out too and see what works best!
Jane Iredale Smooth Affair Facial Primer & Brightener ($6.78) I’m really happy about this one because it’s for drier skin, which I have, so I’m hoping that it will help provide some hydration along with the priming!
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Pillow Plump XXL Lip Gloss in Pinkwell ($5.60) I already have big lips so I don’t know that tingling products really do anything for me, but this is a pretty color! But most importantly when you apply it’s like explosions on your lips. It was fun to have a unique tingling product! This one is also delicious – sorta like cake.
Erno Laszlo Firmarine Bar Soap ($5.09) The Allure editors are definitely fans of this bar soap cleansing regimen! They focus on daily beauty rituals and regimens and their bars are meant to be used after a cleaning bar, you dip the bar into a basin of water, rub all over your face, and splash your face 20 times, then do new water and splash 10 more times. This is too complicated for me. I rub cleanser on my face in the shower and wash it off.
Kaplan MD Cellular Rejuvenating Concentrate ($17) OMG. This is so pricey. I didn’t even want to try it because I might love it, and I kinda do really like it… It increases collagen production and makes your face feel so smooth. And I cannot believe they sent a product that is $170 for one ounce! This serum can also be use used after laser skin resurfacing treatments and microdermabrasion to support healing.
Caviar Alterna Replenishing Moisture Milk ($2.94) Well, this product certainly pairs with the Tangle Teezer and may make detangling just a tad easier! Smells like lime – yummy. I always love a good smell in my hair.
Tangle Teezer ($15) Well, this is the 7th one or so of a detangling brush in my house. If any one of them worked to keep my child’s hair tangle free, I’d immediately tell you all about it. There is no painless detangling for children, I’m convinced of it. As for me, I don’t get tangles! My hair is so fine that nothing stays in. I think the main benefit is that it removes less hair as it detangles than other methods, causing less pain.
This box was kind of insane, and a return to this subscription’s best installments with almost $55 in value and some really excellent products to sample.

This Allure Box never disappoints! So many great products. Thanks for sharing your box. 🙂
I absolutely LOVE this box…everything was new to me and I’d been dying to try everything, especially the toner (i know, it’s less than $3 but I didn’t want to invest in a large bottle without knowing for sure it would be effective).
It really was fantastic!!! Do you get a lot of use out of the tangle teezer type products?
I have pin straight hair, so even a fork would do the trick ;-D I love it though, keep it in my bag for my 4-year old daughter & I to use throughout the day!!
