Protect Fou-Stick by Fou Fou Dog ($5):  Rarely will a pup ever decline a walk, and all that walking is hard on their paws.  Fou-Stick Protect uses coconut oil and beeswax to form a protective barrier, minimizing irritation from hot or cold pavement, salt, and abrasion. 

Soothe Fou-Stick by Fou Fou Dog ($5):  Fou-Stick Sooth uses aloe to help get your pooch bag on his feet again when they are sore and tender.

Tea Tree Shampoo by John Paul Pet ($2):  Give your dog a salon-grade wash.  Tea Tree has a soothing quality and will help moisturize your pet’s skin.  It’s nice to have some single uses under the downstairs sink for mud-mergencies.

Starfish by Tuffy Pet Toys ($13.88):  This thing is big, measuring 10” or so from tip to tip and a good 3” thick in the center.  A hard to activate squeaker is buried within (but not hard for strong jaws).  The material is thick and has reinforced stitching across it  the edges are seamed with durable nylon webbing and extra stitching.  My favorite feature is the agonized expression on the starfish’s face!

Clean Pet Wipes by Fou Fou Dog ($5): Each pack has 15 big wipes that can be used on cats or dogs.  They are made of natural bamboo fibers and are infused with aloe extract.  The scents are more for you than your dog — we received appletini and strawberry daiquiri.

Ear Eye Wipes by John Paul Pet ($1): Dogs, especially big dogs, love a good ear rub, so you might as well get them clean while you are at it.  These handy wipes are fragrance free to minimize irritation and are intended for wiping away those sticky tear stains and crusty bits that make an otherwise adorable dog look kinda gross.

Backcountry Natural Treat by Merrick ($10):  About the diameter of a lacrosse ball, these steak patties are dry enough to have the feel of a biscuit, but your dog will thank you for giving him meat instead of grain.  My small dog didn’t go crazy upon my opening the bag, something I attribute to the arid character of the rounds, but she ate every bit once she started in on them.

Groomie by Fou Fou Dog ($9.99): shaped like a bone, this silicone brush helps proactively limit shedding by gently pulling loose fur.  It is gentle on dogs and suitable for wet or dry use.  Super easy to clean.  It even is great for removing hair from furniture and other household surfaces.

True Drool does a great job of tailoring to large dogs, addressing the problems of shedding, grooming, and toy destruction that are compounded by the size of your jumbo pet.  I especially loved the toy selected for this box — it was very well constructed and right-sized for a big dog.
