Mission Cute is a monthly subscription box of cute once a month – half the net proceeds go to that month’s nonprofit pick. Each MissionCute box comes with at least 2 items made by small-but-mighty artisans and local businesses. By joining MissionCute, you’ll receive a box of cute stuff that comes straight from small businesses and local artisans.
I really love the wrapping. I just think it’s cute.
The information card comes with details on the monthly charity and all the items in the box. For July Mission cute partnered with CLOUD Projects by the NWC. C.L.O.U.D. projects enable people to travel to beautiful, deserving partner communities around the world and directly affect change. Sort of charitable tourism. The proceeds from this box is going toward partner communities – none of their fundraising goes toward salaries or travel/housing costs of participants.
All the items in the July box!
Pink Lemonade Clutch ($22) This is SUPER cute! It’s an envelope clutch and comes with a wristlet strap and a chain, so wear it how you’d like. I love the color!
Wooster & Prince Photo Frame ($4.95) This frame is super pretty! I’m a big fan of things right now that don’t lay flat – I’m trying to decorate with what I have – and what I have is a lot of trays and bowls. This is just pretty and I will use it on top of my hall console table to show a favorite photo!
July Statement Necklace ($16) I don’t know if they’re saying we’re going to get a necklace from now on, or just named it July? I like the peach/pink/mint theme going on, and the style is pretty!
Fab Parlor Mirror Diamond Earrings ($5) Whoops, my camera is so good it got my fingerprint. These are etched mirrors, faceted like a diamond. I think it’s a cute and humorous statement. Totally wearing them!
Wild & Free Print ($9) I love this one. Love love. It will go perfectly in my daughter’s bedroom – describes her spirit exactly!
This was one of my favorite Mission Cute boxes ever! The value was around $57, and I thought the prices were reasonable (sometimes this box tends to inflate prices a bit). I really particularly liked the style of everything this month and I thought it was a pretty fab summer box. I also love how Mission Cute is very specific about how much (50% of net proceeds) get donated to charity with each box, and that it’s a substantial amount. I have been collecting a list of subscription boxes that donate to charity (many more than are on this list – I do it as I go!) and I tend to think more transparency for companies that use this as a selling point is better.
