My daughter was totally surprised when she received this box – she remarked that they switched things up this month! The box is a suitcase! Bramble Box is a monthly subscription box sending imaginative play kits to kids every month. You’ll get fun gender neutral play kits around a theme every month that will inspire your kids to creatively explore. Play, role play, and pretend play are all essential to achieving developmental milestones.
The June theme is World Traveler! There’s information on the monthly kit on the box lid.
The branding for this box is too too cute! I just love seeing that fox!
The box came with tons of crafting supplies!
Doodles United States Coloring Fun Book
This had all sorts of puzzles and games and…
Coloring pages for each state and facts about each. My daughter has been grabbing my phone constantly to look up the colors for the flowers, birds, and flags! This is a cute way to help learn something about the states (she usually reads some of the Wikipedia articles too!).
A great, colorful, and accurate map! This was hung immediately on our wall!
Apparently we’re going to be flying to all the places where the State Department has issued travel advisories! 🙂 She later added Laos to the list. Much more my speed!
The box came with some stickers and 3 Bramble Airways tickets!
There were also 3 world traveler crafts!
An Alpine Hat – This was cute and we talked about the alpine region while we made it!
Japanese ‘Koinobori’ windsocks.
Koinobori means ‘carp streamer’ in Japanese. These fish shaped wind socks are traditionally flown on Children’s Day in Japan, in honor of children, for a good future and in the hope that they grow up healthy and strong.
We made these on a rainy day and had a great time! Mom may have messed up the streamer length a bit but the kids really enjoyed placing the scales on the fish and making a pattern.
And Paper Plate Maracas! These were fun and easy for my kids to complete. They really loved them! She drew an eagle and a snake, just like the Mexican flag!
He was so into this craft. I don’t think I recall him ever coloring something completely before.
Tada! Because mommy messed up the streamers we cannibalized some curling ribbons!
The box also came with a pretend passport and lots of stickers (there were more inside).
My kids got to work filling out the Passport, placing stickers everywhere, and playing airport!
We even made a cute ticket holder out of a piece of construction paper!
This is such an imaginative play & pretend box and I would never think of playing airport, but they spent an entire day with this box and several evenings, too. We think this is such a great subscription, and it combines learning with pretend, which is so important at the younger ages. We really highly recommend it!
