a little bundle june 2015 box

A Little Bundle is a monthly curated box full of unique products for mom and baby.  Their mission is to bring laughter, excitement and love to the journey of motherhood. FYI when you subscribe, the size of your child is the age that your box will be curated for (even though there’s a birthday entry on the next page).

The June A Little Bundle box!

Paper & Things NYC – New York City Blank Card ($1.75) This is cute, but it doesn’t really go with the suggestion to write your baby a card every month. I’m going to New York in a couple weeks and decidedly not taking my children! Guess I’ll send them a card!

New York Baby Book ($8.05) Apparently New Yorkers are super into pretzels! To me this is a much better idea than taking the baby to NYC.

Jana Lam Mini Mini Zipper Clutch ($36.50) Well, after seeing other subscribers’ clutches, I’m jealous. I received the Mini Mini Zipper clutch and others received the clutches below, all in which I think are preferable patterns and style. This is just an OK item for me, especially for a baby box for a boy.

Kira Kids T-Shirt ($29) This is cute! I get this box in size 18 months to 2T and my skinny 4 year old has totally appeared wearing these shirts (that also fit perfectly on my giant 25 pound baby).

Cheengo Watermelon Rattle ($15.95) A cute and seasonal rattle. This also got sent to older kids, which is weird. Even mine is kind of old for a rattle (he’s 9.5 months).

No coupons for A Little Bundle – but you can save $6 per month with a 6-month subscription. This subscription is a little weird in that lots of the items from age to age are the same, but the other items will totally vary, and some are better than others in terms of value. It made me cranky that I didn’t get the pineapple clutch that other subscribers got (the pouch was a lower value) and the rattle was a lower value than the rattle paired with the clutch. That made no sense to me.  In turn, I’ve received more value (of something I didn’t want – green/natural training pants for an infant).  I have a hard time wrapping my head around the curation of this subscription. They pick good items, but they should have more variation for the ages. And not give other people pineapples and leave me in the cold. This is honestly too expensive of a subscription to have that kind of box value variation when the items are nearly the same. I would have been totally happy with box if one of the regular clutches was in it.

I believe it’s $49. It’s on the bottom of the review. Hit up the home page for a coupon that just came out today.

I totally agree about the box value this month. I got a zipper pouch like you and was really bummed it wasn’t one of the pineapple clutches. Plus, I was looking forward to one of the crocheted rattles and got some other rattle that didn’t make sense with the curation of the box and didn’t have the same value as other people’s boxes. I really like this box, but the value variation is a little upsetting.
