July 2015 Love With Food Deluxe Box Review + Coupon

Love with Food‘s theme for July is Surfin’ USA and the box features totally tubular treats! This is a fun snack discovery subscription available in three versions: classic tasting box, deluxe/family size, and gluten-free. We purchase the Deluxe box, because we have a big family and more snacks = more fun!

The information booklet contains both the ingredients for each item plus color-coded keys indicating which are non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan!  Though they offer a Gluten-free box, it’s nice to have this kind of info handily started for households with mixed dietary profiles.

One Potato Two Potato Kettle Potato Chips in Hawaiian BBQ:  Kettle chips are the only way to go if you are eating potato chips.  The BBQ flavor on these is sweet and tangy.  So glad they sent two bags!

Bare Simply Toasted Crunchy Coconut Chips:  crispy and naturally sweet, these are a great texture treat — like an almond sliver with a sweet and creamy flavor.

Fruitval Banana Chips Crispy Fruit Chips:  I have seen many banana chips, but never before have I seen this style.  The chips are cut lengthwise and are ultra-thin, so they cook up into super-crisp curls instead of crunchy coins.  Great banana flavor, and much less heavy and greasy than most banana “chips.”

Sea’s Gift Roasted Seaweed Snack – Sweet & Salty:  Organic seaweed is lightly sweetened and salted to create a crunchy wafer.

Lemon Almond Biscotti by Biscotti Di Suzy:  Crunchy, but not hard, theses are what biscotti are supposed to be.  Sized about half the length of the biscotti you see at cafes, these are perfect for when you want a little treat instead of a meal replacement.

True Lemon, Orange, Lime, Grapefruit:  Each packet packs the flavor of a large wedge of the respective fruit, and it has big, natural citrus flavor.  Great for adding to water or to use to brighten up your culinary creations.  I love having these around for when I throw together a Thai inspired dish — fresh lime has a short lifespan, and I don’t like having a bottle of juice hanging around in the fridge — these are convenient and tastes great.  It was great to receive all four varieties and this is already something Brandy buys (she’s semi-obsessed with it).

Tasty Brand Organic Wild Berry Fruit Snacks:  Theses little chews are made from organic juice and leave out the high-fructose corn syrup found in many popular brands.

Tasty Brand Organic Fruit Snacks:  The second pack has some of the same flavors as the wild berry, but with citrus and peach flavors, too!

Glee Gum Pops:  The center of these pops features all-natural Glee gum.  Coated with a natural, cane-sugar and fruit-flavor lollipop.

SunRype 100% Fruit Strip – Wildberry:  This natural fruit strip is a bit like Twizzler and Fruit Roll-up hybrid, but with nothing but fruit.

Bear Naked Coconut Almond Curry:  Slightly spicy, the curry seasoning is the perfect complement to this all-natural, crunchy granola.  Natural honey, cane, rice, and maple syrups provide a sweet tasty crispness.

We love getting the Deluxe box for all the doubles and the special snacks, and it’s worth it to us, but we’ve been disappointed that we aren’t getting all the items in the Tasting Box in this subscription. The tasting box had two variations this month and between the two of them there were three products not in this box – Kids’ Organic Sour Citrus by Honey Stinger, Blueberry Acai Flax Oatmeal Fruit Squeeze by Munk Pack, and Organic Fruit Snack by Fruigees. Overall it’s definitely a better deal than the classic tasting box, but I guess you have to be willing to miss out on something in the regular box.  It would be great if it were formatted as plus-sizing the classic tasting box, rather than as a different selection.
