DoodleBug Busy Bags is always full of fun and easy seasonal crafts and my kids love it.  This is a kids’ subscription from Kidable Adventures, who also produces the Little Thinker Box . We love this subscription because it’s just fun and the kids adore the holiday/themed and easy to assemble crafts. Every box comes with the bagged up crafts, any supplies you might need like glue dots and magnets, and a simple instruction sheet.

The instruction sheet tells you what crafts to use the extra supplies on and any tips! The July Bag was Under the Sea and the sheet had lots of fun facts, like how an octopus has 3 hearts (seriously?!).

Everything comes corralled in a big plastic bag. This month all subscribers received a nice big red bag to keep everything in too – going forward all new subscribers will receive this bag too!

This month I didn’t get a whole lot of pictures of this box – because grandma & grandpa did it with the kids while I was out of town! It’s easy, fun, and keeps the kids busy, which means it’s a perfect box for regular or infrequent caregivers, like grandparents or other family members and babysitters. I found this photo on my husband’s phone! I was surprised he went for the finger-stamping (and so was my husband!) because he hates getting his hands dirty!

The kids made:

  • Submarine Craft
  • Magic Color Scratch Fish
  • Seahorse
  • Beaded Dolphin Necklace
  • Hanging Whale Craft
  • Octopus Sand Art
  • Shark Sticker
  • and I hear my daughter had tons of fun with the Tropical Sea Life Activity Book – which came with its own crayons!

My kids excitedly pointed out all their new decorations to me and I heard a lot of “I made this!” today! I think you can tell which fish my 4 year old made and which one my 6 year old made!
