Bluum is a baby and kids subscription box full of age-specific developmentally appropriate items for your child (with mom items too). Bluum now has a box item preference system to help adjust what goes into your boxes – so you can nix diapering items, mom items, etc, or keep those in! It’s up to you.
There is no specific theme to Bluum boxes, nor is there a real information card – Bluum checks the tracking and when your box is delivered, a list of the items inside your box is emailed to you.
Everything in our July box. I was away so I got the box list while I was traveling, and I have to say – I was disappointed in the value! Only $27 worth of items in the box. I thought perhaps it changed – but they still say
bluum boxes got a makeover and since then include full-size products, hand-picked for each child’s age, gender and developmental stage with a value of $40 or more in each box.
I submitted a support request, because I don’t think this is acceptable!
Hachette Book Group I Want to Draw – Monsters ($4.99) My daughter loves this and was really happy with it! I found the rest of the series here and will totally buy more.
It takes kids through the steps of drawing.
My daughter has been drawing monsters all morning!
Crocodile Creek 100-Pc Travel Pouch Puzzle – Ocean ($4.99) While we didn’t receive this exact design, we did receive this puzzle in our March box. So while I would have preferred another item, we do like puzzles and don’t have this one.
Child’s Play Please Mr. Crocodile – A Lift-the-Flap Book ($9.99) We love lift the flap book, and Child’s Play (there’s usually a Child’s Play book in all of our Bluum boxes), so we liked this!
Melissa & Doug 3 In 1 Wand – Verdie Chameleon ($6.99) There isn’t anything better than bubbles for the summer months, and this is a cute wand – everything is contained in one piece, and it helps keep the backyard detritus down a little bit.
We had a defective item last month (it was a stuffed animal which was sewn funny, but still usable), so this was also included in our box. I thought it was a nice gesture and good customer service. It has a value of $9.99 and I’m not counting it in the value of the box, especially because Bluum shows it as an extra:
We do think it’s a nice item, and Doohickies are $9.99 a package. Next time we buy our middle child shoes with laces, we’ll test it out!
Value issues aside, this was a good box and if you’re looking for interesting and unique kids items, Bluum does a good job. I’ll update with their response!

Oh wow that value is just wrong but it is a good box. My boys would have loved all the items. C is currently obsessed with puzzles so we are always looking for fun new ones to try.
