Typically, most of us consider the laundry to be a drag. But what if it were an indulgence? While I’m grateful to live in a place where we take laundry, sanitation, and hygiene for granted, I don’t find washing clothing for five people joyful (and I do less laundry than my husband!). This box must contain a magic robot!

These dryer balls were handmade exclusively for our customers in Kyrgyzstan, where wool is a way of life. (The country is world-famous for its shyrdak felt rugs.)
The wool balls were made by artisans of Altyn Kol Women’s Cooperative. The cooperative employs over 1,000 craftswomen and serves as one of few sources of cash income available to the region’s remote farming and shepherding villages.The wool balls is a GlobeIn signature product and will retail for $15.
