Spring 2015 June Mugler Addict Subscription Box Review

Mugler Addict is Thierry Mugler’s quarterly subscription box. Mugler is the creator of Angel and other fragrances and with this box you’ll receive deluxe and trial sizes of Thierry Mugler must-haves and new fragrance creations delivered to your doorstep.

Thierry Mugler doesn’t conform to reality for his perfume or for the seasons. This is actually the Spring box, but in mid-June I’m all about Summer. Good thing Angel is awesome any time of year!   I remain bummed that the copy editor isn’t quite as fantastic and bizarre as they used to be. 

 This is one of my fave boxes, mostly because I love perfume and Angel especially. If you’re a Thierry Mugler fan I don’t see how you can not be a subscriber to this one! It’s $50 a year with 4 shipments – $12.50 per box.

Angel Boudoir Star: This is really neat! Instead of a sachet, there’s a ceramic Angel star to spray your tummies on and scent everything you own. This is brilliant because it’s useful and also helps use up some extra perfume (and dastardly – because you’ll need more).

Nice little travel set! I love layering my scents and I will never actually buy the full bottle to do it, but I really enjoy getting the samples.

Angel the New Star Mini: “carved out of starlight, this precious star was meant to be treasured forever.”  This is a mini of the new bottle they’ve released and I think perhaps I showed it the wrong way. I’m not entirely sure yet (I’m hoping this gentleman will know!)

Angel Eau Sucrée: An excellent scent, and they always have spritz tops. More berry and caramel than regular Angel (i.e., more sugary).

This box was a bit excessively similar to the one I received in September (see my mini review), but I loved the drawer accessory and I always love Angel, and it looks like instead of a new seasonal or limited edition Angel they re-released the Sucrée. This box is always worth more than $12 to me – I get to try the new fragrances when available, and when not, they seem to send a neat exclusive item. Yes, most of these are freebies with purchase but I don’t have to throw down $100 on a bottle of perfume that I can’t use up.
