nerd block review

Nerd Block is a monthly mystery geek & gamer subscription box. Every month includes a new shirt and Nerd Block boxes are typically filled with fun toys and figurines. It really is a box for everyone who enjoys nerdy and pop culture things.

Lucky me, I accidentally received two information cards this month. I noticed right away there was no book – there’s been a book in Nerd Block for quite a few months. The June Theme was British Invasion.

Everything in the box!IMG_5208

Monty’s Multiple Message Magnets ($5?) Designed exclusively for Nerd Block! These are hilarious and I love them. Especially the beaver magnet, which I will cherish forever.

mr bean teddy bear

Mr. Bean’s Teddy Bear ($7.28) Mr. Bean’s teddy bear comes in new condition so by the time you’re as old as Rowan Atkinson, it can look just like his! Cute!

A Beany Bendable Mr. Bean ($12ish) Mr. Bean as a bendable figure also comes with teddy. My sense of humor is often unique, but I admit that even I can’t get into Mr. Bean. I once went happily with a friend to the Mr. Bean movie and was completely appalled. Guess who’s getting Mr. Bean?! 🙂 I forgave him and he eventually performed the wedding ceremony for my husband & I upon being bribed with Zeppelin toys. [the dirigible kind – he’s a true nerd! And actually, now that I remember it, he interviewed John Cleese once for Rolling Stone. It’s brilliant – and no, I still don’t know how he ended up with that gig!]

Doctor Who Titan Figure, 10th Doctor ($15?) All I can gather is that this is a US exclusive because this dude is readily available on eBay.

Whovian Art Print: OOH OOH OOH

This exclusive print will delight any Dr. Who fan. While most of the print run is in blue, we’ve also included a highly-limited green version as a special treat for a select few recipients.

As someone who never gets the higher value anything, I was excited to get the variant. Too bad I have zero interest in Dr. Who!

Sherlock (BBC Version!) Bored Shirt ($10) This was funny, and if you don’t get it, watch the video below!
