Candyland Dip Dab – This is like Fun Dip, I think? I have never in my life eaten the kind of candy that you dip into sugar! This is fizzy which I guess you would expect by the dots all over the package!
Milkita Strawberry Milkshake Candy – A huge fave around here – you can see we couldn’t even wait before taking photos to snack on one. We being my daughter but they’re all gone now!
Kanjers Extra Grote Stroopwafels – These were indeed Extra Grote! These are the fattest stroopwafels I’ve ever seen. My husband said it was good, a little chewier than normal. We love Stroopwafels!
Oreo Chocolate Bar Mini – Apparently they make these in macadamia, strawberry, and milk tea, too. I wouldn’t be upset if I got to try all of them! This was good but odd, because it tasted exactly like an oreo, yet it was a candy bar.
Green Tea KitKat Bars – I love these Matcha flavored KitKats – all the regular crispiness from the wafer, but they’re covered in matcha white chocolate coating. These are excellent and hard to find here. Definitely one of my faves and I always get excited about it.
Rowntrees Fruit Gums – A really classic British fruity snack (and made with 25% fruit juice). They have a great flavor and aren’t so sweet that they would hurt your teeth. These are a great candy to include for the summer (most boxes ship less chocolate, because it melts!). Since taking this photograph I haven’t seen these again – must mean the kids stole them!
Jacobs Twiglets – OHHHH now we know what these are! Sometimes we aren’t sure what a specific flavor comes from until we do the review. We thought these were maybe rye (it said wholegrain and we didn’t read the ingredients. They’re coated in MARMITE! I ate them with laughing cow cheese, which was great, and also kind of funny, because they say to eat them with cream cheese. These were great and unusual and 100% new to me.
This is a nice variety of candy and snacks from around the world and there’s enough for everyone in our family to enjoy! This is saying something considering it comes in a relatively small box. The snacks are impossible to go out and find the values of individually, but the box is pretty inexpensive at $15 per month, and I’m liking that I am seeing snacks that I haven’t seen before, too!

At 50% off this box is worth it, but $15? Definitely not. I seem to recall they were offering their first box for free, what happened to that?

Well I kind of figured from the 50% off bit, LOL! I got a box when it was free, a friend got a box a while before and wasn’t wowed, when I got mine, I wasn’t either. A lot of this stuff can be purchased locally, and the box she got had plantain chips in it??? That’s not even candy. Glad to see they are doing candy now but honestly, still better candy subscription boxes out there.
They *just* moved their operations to cratejoy and I just found out that on a year long sub it’s down to $11/mo. They couldn’t do that before on Paypal. So now it’s more like Barkbox, where it’s a pretty good deal if you go for the big subscription. $4 off per month is pretty big. So I am happy with that change. They do sometimes send out different things because of summer shipping issues. Otherwise you have to be running a gourmet candy sub with ice packs (like Treatsie) and eat a lot of money sending out replacements. anyways, i just thought i’d update on that!
