The May 2015 theme is “Growing with Grace.” Every month a Yogi Surprise member will win a yoga getaway.  This month was focused on easing the transition into the warmer seasons and changing and growing along with the seasonal change.

The information card. I knew this box was produced by the same crew behind Prospurly and you could really tell just by looking at the artwork. This one is easier to read, though.

yogi surprise may 2015 review

All the items in the May 2015 Yogi Surprise box.

Yogi Necklace with Om Pendant ($21) This is a super pretty yoga statement necklace. I’m not particularly into yoga, I just wanted to check out this box, but I love this and will wear it. FYI, Yogi Surprise has a new Jewelry subscription out now, if you just want jewelry & vegan chocolate goodies every month!

Tibetan Prayer Flags ($8) These are gorgeous, and I couldn’t be happier to have them for my kids’ adventure theme room. Unfortunately also really timely with the earthquake in Nepal.  FYI – they’ll be hung properly from left to right!

Star Essence Yoga Mind Mouth Mist ($18) Who knew that flower & gemstone would taste so good? They really do. This is perfect for a dry mouth or for balancing or you can spray it on your face!

(also the flags rolled up)

Moon Valley Organics Peppermint Foot Rub ($13) Arnica, lavender, and mint. This looks like a super nice foot rub!

And the packaging was just gorgeous. This was so giftable that I packaged it back up because this week was Teacher Appreciation week and I missed it!

Tea Tibet Kindness Green Tea ($4.99) I’m not a tea drinker but apparently Alena’s husband is super into green tea, so this will find its way to her home soon!

Luv Superfoods Beegan-Bites ($8) These were really delicious and were packed full with all sorts of superfoods – and only 6 grams of sugar per huge cup! These were a total win in my book, and I loved discovering all the things inside (goji berries, hemp on top, a salty himalayan pink salt twist, and the yummy almond too!). Note that this isn’t really vegan, because it includes honey.  I’m definitely not vegan so I didn’t care, but some might.

My friend, Jesse Richardson (we started Conscious Box together) actually owns and runs Prospurly. We share the same UPS box :). Jesse was definitely inspired by Yogi Surprise, but I didn’t think the packaging looked that similar, haha.

Hi Brandy, great review! I wanted to point out though – Yogi Surprise is NOT the same crew behind Prospurly. I’m not sure why this connection keeps being made 😛

    • Brandy

um, probably because i’m 99% certain that jameson morris either started or owns both? because the packaging is nearly identical in every relevant way? because both are based out of portland? because the corporate address for prospurly is associated with jameson morris?

so maybe that’s why that connection keeps occurring.

Hi Brandy! Saw my name come up in google alerts here. I actually didn’t start Prospurly – just Yogi Surprise 🙂
