Collectible Geek‘s Collector’s Cache is a monthly package built for the ultimate collector, geek, or enthusiast. Each Collector’s Cache comes with “five meticulously chosen items such as t-shirts, Funko products, nerdy toys from the staff at collectibleGEEK, featuring a different theme each month”.
Our subscription works a little different than most do though. If for any reason you don’t want to recieve a month’s theme all you have to do is send an email to [email protected] by the 5th of the month; with your name in it, type SKIP THIS MONTH in the subject line and we will just skip that month for you.
The reason this box is so popular is that you can skip boxes that aren’t part of your personal fandom universe.
I was really pleased when I opened this box – because last month was a total disaster. I saw multiple licensed items (not cheap Chinese counterfeits) and other interesting items!
This month came with an information card, which was definitely another improvement. As you can see, it looks like the premium items are now exclusive to the “I want it all” boxes.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Comic #44 ($3.99) I was excited to get this! We get so many Marvel superheroes comics that it’s nice to get something a little different!
TMNT Shot Glass – Leonardo ($2.25) It looks like these shot glasses haven’t hit the market yet, and it’s a neat item!
Raphael Pocket POP! Keychain ($5.20) We already have this exact item, but TMNT is always welcome in our home!
Culture Shock Print Co Micro Posters ($4) These were better print quality than last month’s, although I still think they could be improved a bit. Kevin & Peter are the creators of TMNT so I thought this was a great reference for hardcore fans!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Can Hugger ($7.50) This is high quality and my husband is going to love it! I saved it for Father’s Day!
TMNT MiniMates Series 2 ($5.99) I liked this item! It is pretty tough to change the pieces (there are 2 heads) but my husband can do it.
So cute and a great collectible!
Kraang Magnet ($3) I prefer licensed items but I liked this one because it wasn’t super thin.
Foot Pad To Do List ($4) This is a neat little item and my husband has been writing his to dos on it. It’s definitely a hit!
The list has this for the pages.
What a gigantic improvement over last month! This box was full of fun and usable items and I didn’t feel like my money was wasted (the value was about $36). I still think it could be better – I’m used to getting a lot more than what I paid for a subscription, but I am hoping that the next box will be similar to this one in curation and quality!
