Marvel Collector Corps is a brand new subscription from Marvel Comics in partnership with Funko. Every box includes one of four exclusive shirt designs, 1 stylized vinyl collectible, and 2 premium accessories. Boxes are $25 plus shipping and there are no coupons. The box promises $50 in value every quarter, plus every item is a 100% exclusive item.

We took lots of photos of this very cool box – which was designed for just the Avengers mailing.

The first box in this subscription was the April 2015 box and the theme was Avengers: Age of Ultron. My husband just about lost it when we opened this box (I let him open it – he is such a fan!).

The debut box included a collector’s patch and pin. I am starting to collect quite a few patches and am looking for a fun use for them. They are mostly game and comic related, some other popculture. I would love your ideas!

I was thrilled to see a beautiful enamel pin. I like the buttons (I have another collection of those!) but the pins are very neat. This one will go on my son’s Disney pin lanyard.

How could you not be excited about this?

Everything in the April 2015 Marvel Collectors Corps box.

Avengers Guardians Team-Up with variant cover. I admit that I don’t read the comics but my husband loves reading them with my kids.

Avengers Age of Ultron Dorbz Funko figure. Dorbz is a totally new Funko line and they are super adorable little figures, hence the name! We got the Ultron figure and I have mixed feelings on making him adorable!

Thor vs Ultron shirt – there were 4 variations (Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, and this one). I see now that I am writing this review that it’s technically the May box, although it definitely shipped and arrived in April (I was in the first wave of subscribers). Can’t fault any subscriptions for early shipments. The shirt is relatively soft but not super soft. Shirts go up to XXL and my husband may put the screws to me to size up from a medium (I get a different size every subscription so we all have a variety of fun shirts to wear!).

See all 4 shirt designs in the unboxing video.

Funko Pop! Avengers Age of Ultron Hulkbuster figurine. This isn’t even a figurine. It’s a giant massive pop sculpture.

With a bobble head!

Ours had a powdery white substance on the body but it wiped off fine.

So that’s the box! Pretty impossible to value with the exclusives but general estimates put it around $60 for me if the items were available on the general market. We subscribed for a year right away but if we hadn’t there would be no question about us continuing to subscribe.

Oh right – theme spoiler for the June 2015 box!
