loot crate review
Loot Crate is the original subscription box for geeks & gamers. Every month you’ll get awesome geeky items curated around a central theme. One of the things I love about this box is that it’s only $20 per month – a super affordable geeky fix with a subscriber base so gigantic that every box is full of really awesome geeky items – many of which are exclusive to this subscription. You can save $3 on any Loot Crate subscription with code SAVE3 or save 10% on a longer subscription plan with promo code HELLOSUBSCRIPTION (perfect for the new annual subscription).

Every Loot Crate box comes with the mini mag.  There are interviews and fan stories inside, as well as details on all the products.

LootCrate May Button

Avengers Age of Ultron Decal ($5) This is impossible to find online, so I guessed at the price! This is very neat and we do use these stickers – our son likes us to stick them on our sliding glass door.

Team Fortress 2 Button Set ($4) Another Lootcrate exclusive! My daughter will flip over the Unicorn!

Rick and Morty 300-piece Jigsaw Puzzle ($8ish) A LootCrate exclusive puzzle! That’s really awesome!

Marvel Heroes Ice Cube Tray ($11.82)

Marvel Superheroes Shoe Laces ($7)

These are both really awesome items – and usable whether you subscribe for an adult or younger person 🙂 We will be using our ice mold for ice, jello, whatever we can put in there! FYI, if you need to use up extra slack in your laces, try one of these techniques.

These are both so excellent!

Bravest Warriors #1 Tales From The Holo John Comic ($4.99) Loot Crate exclusive cover. Based on the description from Comic Book Resources, this looks like a really excellent choice for the “Unite” box!

five short stories set in the lavish lavatory, including ones by Paul Allor (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles); Mad Rupert (Adventure Time: Banana Guard); and John Omohundro, the voice of Danny on the Bravest Warriors animated series!… what if the Holo John gains sentience and “dreams of electric pee”?

Mad Magazine Loot Crate Edition + Bonus Digital Copy of Mad ($5) I can’t believe they’re still publishing this! We used to read it all the time when we were kids.

A MAD Look at Superheroes Uniting!

Flophouse Green Ranger T-Shirt ($15) This is actually two rangers – the Green & the White! Thanks Tiffany! Total animation know-it-all. (In a good way!).

For us this was a really excellent box! Top quality items and franchises that our family loves. For us this is a family subscription – and whomever loves it most usually ends up with it!
