geek me box review

Geek Me Box is a mystery geek and gamer box, with an epic shirt guaranteed monthly. We’re on a quest to try all of them out right now – they’re great for our family because there’s usually something for everyone!

The May theme was “Animate Wars.” I was glad I decided to stay another month for this box. I think it has a unique perspective and curation! I just wish it had an information card too, and perhaps a curator’s note!

Bravest Warriors Catbug Clip Plush ($15??) I couldn’t find this exact item online but a smaller version of it is $10! It’s adorable and my kid snagged it immediately. Great BW item!

Sonic Lanyard ($7.36) This is great to wear at a gamer convention, or just keep your ID or bus pass in!

Disney Uncle Scrooge Comic #1 ($3.99) OMG this is great!!! I love that they included a non superhero comic. I have super fond memories of watching DuckTales (which they are rebooting on Disney Jr in 2 years) after DuckTales. Yes Tiffany, I’m looking at YOU!

Wak! Disney’s richest epic hero returns! In “The Wrath of Gigabeagle,” the McDuck Money Bin meets a monster-sized Beagle Boy mech!

DuckTales as PowerPuff Girls T-Shirt ($15) Fortunately for Tiffany’s sake, she identified this shirt for me in seconds. It’s cute and I just couldn’t put my finger on it that it was also PowerPuff Girls! What a great mashup. This is in my top 5 mashup shirts from geek boxes.

Disney Store Star Wars Landspeeder Die Cast Vehicle ($9.95 – marked to $3.95) My son spied this immediately and was super excited about it! Great for your collection or your desk!

I really liked this box! The total value was around $45 and I thought it was a unique collection! The box also included some Panini Sticker book sticker packs that I didn’t include in the value – they are a bit of a novelty but not altogether useful without the sticker books. However, I enjoyed feeling the nostalgia wash over me!

The last day to sign up for the June box is June 12, and the theme is still a mystery! I will post when I know it!

Oh WOW this box was AWESOME. I am just a bit to excited for Ducktales to be rebooted. I loved that show and can’t wait for my “boys” to get to see it.
