The box contains a letter to your child setting the scene! They love acting stuff like this out.

I was surprised and happy to see a craft included in the box. These are superhero cuffs that you make out of glitter foam.

Little Adventures Cape ($15.99)

Little Adventures Hero Lightning Bolt Tutu ($17.99)

These are the essential parts of your girl’s superhero costume. Some girls got red/blue, just like Wonder Woman!

So cute. Obviously matches her style!

Little Adventures Reversible Mask ($2.99)

Power Shield ($6.99)

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve heard “flowerrr POWerrrr” this weekend (a LOT). She loved this so much.

Dex The Heart of a Hero ($6.99) I love getting books in kids’ activity boxes.

Dex the underdog becomes a hero! I admit I haven’t read this one yet. My daughter’s kindergarten teacher apparently has, and she snapped it up and read it herself. If the teacher says yes it must be good!

So I’m going to have to admit here that my son may have cried when he saw this awesome new superhero gear. The kids rarely get jealous but he loves dressing up, so we headed to the My Pretend Place Shop and headed to the Superhero Section. I found one other store (the manufacturer) that carried the matching items but they required $75 shipping. My Pretend Place has free shipping after $30. I bought the matching gear (the mask was out of stock in red/blue, it’s back in already) plus some Astronaut Ice Cream (because, astronaut ice cream!).  It shipped Monday and arrived today (Wednesday). Even my husband said over and over – that got here so fast! And thank goodness it did because my little guy kept on making me show him the receipt. He was so truly excited. I spent just under $34 at the My Pretend Place store for these items.

I didn’t buy the cape (he has one) or the book, or get the extra craft or get the in-between crafts. He was really jealous and wanted to play superhero with his sister. The items just in the box were about $51 in value, plus the craft was included and we’ll get the cute in between crafts, too!
