Hikari Blush ($15) Full size! What a surprise! Super bold and bright, I’m not sure how boho this is!
LATHER ultra light face lotion ($11.50) Looking at this I was excited to try it and spread it all over my face to discover that it smells like roses. Right into the MIL pile!
theBalm Cosmetics NUDE Dude Eyeshadow Single ($3) I love this little guy. I’d better get to work using him up so I can see what’s at the bottom of the pan!
MicaBeauty Eye Primer ($22.50) This is a very balm-like primer, very thick and heavy duty. Perfect for shadows with serious fallout.
Mullein & Sparrow Mini Lip & Cheek Tint ($10) I wasn’t really impressed by this one. The tint is pretty hard and it’s very lip-balmy. For something that’s supposed to be on the cheeks, it’s just too greasy for my tastes. I liked the color in the pot but it didn’t leave too much on. Just wasn’t my thing.
I got this letter from Mica Beauty about the primer, and can totally confirm that the dots on top were air bubbles. I didn’t like that they were black!
The April Glambag was really only so so for me but I loved that bag!! Value was around $62. i’m new to all these subscription bags, i’ve been reading up on reviews trying to figure out which ones to get i ended up going with birchbox and ipsy…i got my first birchbox last month and really liked it this month will be my first getting ipsy.. i’m excited and hope it turns out well for me… fingers crossed…and thank you for the reviews otherwise i wouldn’t have known where to start..

The bag was stunning!!!! I have purchased Ipsy for 3 months now and im this is the first that I can really say will get some extra use. I got the same blush, a KCO lipstick, the Balm eyeshadow single, the Lather face lotion and something else I can’t remember (embarrassed-sign of a subscription box addict). I have been impressed each month. They’ve honed in on my likes and keep hitting home runs all for just $10!!!! Ahhh! <3
Hi! I really liked the make-up bag this month too. It’s different & cute. I also received the same shade of eye shadow and the eye primer. The other products I received were the nail polish, a lip balm, and a KCO lipstick. The lipstick arrived broken but they’re replacing it. I know I shouldn’t complain for only $10 but, wow, I see the other products and know I would use them more than what I receive. Thank goodness for the points system because I get points every time I can and get other things I do want. Thanks for posting your review!

I got the same blush and eye shadow you did, but the rest of my items were different. I got a Hey Honey facial silk serum, Aromachology roller ball of eau de parfum in an extremely floral scent (not my taste in the slightest), and another doggone lip gloss – particularly annoying when they had at least 3 lipsticks and a few nail polishes among this month’s items, and I’d have preferred any of those. I don’t know what I have to do to convince ipsy that I hate lip gloss – I didn’t mark it on the quiz and I’ve told them every time I’ve gotten one (at least 5 or 6 times) that I don’t like them, won’t use them or ever buy one. As for the bag, it’s cute but all I thought of when I saw it was the old loop pot holders kids made.
Agreed that the May bag (in my opinion) was just awful, including the bag they sent it in. Nothing of use to me so I cancelled. Why do they ask you your preferences then send you the exact opposites?
