My Pretend Place Subscription Box Review – Month 2 – February 2015

I recently reviewed the dress-up box from My Pretend Place – a new quarterly themed pretend play and dress up subscription box for children aged 3-6.  A! Plus, you get totally free surprises in the in between months to keep the play going. This subscription is a little different than some others, in that it starts with the first theme first. For girls, you’ll get princess, and boys will receive Astronaut! The first in-between month came with a letter addressed to your child from Princess Prudence about her adventures and suggesting that she host a tea party. Included in the mailing was a tea cup treat craft/snack. My daughter thought I had stolen her book, which was in the first box, for the photo in this mailing.

Also included – a mini sticker set to create “the fairytale of your dreams.” My daughter couldn’t sleep tonight so I let her work on this. She has a play date tomorrow and I have no doubt it will involve a tea party!

This was a fun surprise. Even though I’d reviewed the initial box in this subscription I didn’t expect it at all. I think this is great fun for a gift for a grandchild too! The interstitial mailing is definitely not the main event, but it got my child excited to role play with items she already owned, which is fantastic.
